The estimate / contract should be gone over in person before you give them any money or sign anything!!! Get every detail in writing. And I mean every detail. You need to explain what stairs are apparently. They will charge you $75 just to show up. They do not bring any supplies at all to the site, and then they charge you $45 to go get them. That is in your estimate / contract. And I don't think they get them anywhere except their squirreled away location where the CUT THE WOOD. It won't be on site. Good luck getting an hourly quote, and good luck having it mean anything. Good luck having a date for the work to be done, and be prepared for excuse after excuse after excuse for why it won't be done when agreed upon. I challenge you to go to their office location and find anyone there ever during their office hours. The work is extremely unprofessional, unsafe, and ridiculously poor quality. I asked to have repairs done to stairs and reeling on a deck before I sanded and refinished. They put in one step and the drop is completely different from one to the other. It is extremely unsafe. It is extremely poor workmanship. I do not recommend this company!
