He carries his own water with him that is heated to 200 degrees so I feel like they were steamed cleaned. He left very little water residue and with some fans, they are drying quickly. I highly recommend Higgins Drilling…read more This is a family business, owned and run by Mike and Myrna Higgins. I bought an old house eight years ago (2017) with an underground sprinkler system. This season it ran intermittently and then finally gave up the ghost. The old rust-encrusted pump had a sticker from Higgins Drilling so I gave them a call, spoke to Myrna, and their son Jason came by the next day. Jason spent more than an hour, thoroughly checked the pump and control box, trimmed back a wire that had insulation missing, and told me the pump was dead and they didn't carry that one anymore. I asked about the bill and he said all he really did was a consult and it would probably be about $50.00. And we found out we were both in the USCG and compared laughs about Coast Guard boot camp! I wanted the same model pump so I could just disconnect from the old pump and hook to the new one. So I ordered the new one online. I couldn't get the inlet and outlet pipes off the old pump, so I took it to their shop and Jason spent close to half an hour on it with two huge pipe wrenches and charged me only $25.00. Yes, I highly recommend Higgins Drilling.

This company seemed like they wanted to help, but that simply wasn't the case. They lied to me about the estimated cost, almost doubling what I was told I would be charged. I didn't find out the cost until a bill arrived in the mail. Not only was the bill much hire than what I was quoted, but the work they did didn't even fix my problem and they have refused to come check their work. They were nice enough to set me up on a payment plan as I couldn't afford the much higher cost, but with that I got treated terribly by the owner and his wife over the coming months. They are extremely unprofessional and rude and I would highly recommend finding service elsewhere.
