We reserved a table and got there right on time. The adult drinks was good I got a mango tango the Og burger was good and juicy the fries was alright. The pancake was soooo good I always have a good meal at the HOE!! The service was wonderful.

I truly chaotic experience picking up a to-go order. I walk in and the place is packed almost wall to wall. A huge party was in the way of the waitress stand (that was unmanned anyway) and the bartender was very clearly trying to not make eye contact. There definitely has to be some kind of fire hazard associated with the amount of people in the way of walk ways. Finally get my to-go order home. The biscuit is SO good. Turkey sausage and potatoes have a good flavor. Eggs are a little bland but nothing salt can't fix. The French toast was thick and good but I don't think it's worth the price I paid. The french toast by itself was the same price as the "angry egg" combo. I would probably come back, definitely order take out again, but only when I'm ready to fight for my life in a crazy Saturday "brunch" crowd.

I have to start by saying this place is positioned in a perfect spot next to the college. I chose this place off the strength of the amazing pictures that have been taken of this place. I did enjoy the ambiance and the staff especially when I found out what the acronym was. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked questions. I couldn't give this place 5 stars because my friends foos came out super late and his eggs weren't prepared as he asked previously. My chicken and waffles is normally how I judge breakfast spots and I did like the take they took on it adding the mild hot sauce on the tenders. The tenders could have been cooked tad bit less and they would have been perfect. I also had a side of french toast hit the spot. Outside of the one mishap this place was phenomenal in terms on taste and customer service. If you're in town do your taste buds a favor and give this place a go.

Overall I would not recommend this place. First parking is a challenge. I drove around the block a couple of times and eventually found a spot on the street. I visited about 8:30 am on a Wednesday. Seating was not a problem. Service was suspect at best. I was asking the size of the pancakes so I would not order too much food. The pancakes in Texas are very large. She said the size of a plate, asked okay what size is the plate. I went on to explain this is our first time and we live in Texas, everything in Texas are large portions. I shouldn't have had to explain myself. Nonetheless the conversation continued and was not very helpful at all. She eventually apologized for coming across with an attitude. For her to notice herself is good but also bad because it was not necessary. The food arrive very fast which was great. There were egg whites ordered which looked like an 1/2 an egg when they brought them to the table maybe two bites. The pancakes were small and not the size of the plate. I asked for an extra syrup and it came with an extra charge. I was told because it is local syrup. Okay what difference does that make. Nonetheless there should have been a free option on the syrup. The turkey sausage tasted like it had already been cooked and was on stand by. On top of that the pancakes were not very good, overcooked. The appetizer ordered was apple bacon and it was very good. I had to ask for water and on my way out the door I finally was asked for a coffee refill. Overall not impressed with the service or the food. I would not recommend.

Another great experience here. Didn't have reservations, so the wait was extensive. Next time we will join the waitlist ahead of time, seems to be what most were doing. I had the country fried steak this go round and WOW! Great sausage gravy, hoe potatoes and nicely breaded steak was a home run. The star was the cinnamon roll pancakes! Delicious thick cut cinnamon roll French toast with fresh blueberries, what a great combination! Still a solid spot for breakfast/brunch!

We stopped in for brunch on a Sunday morning. We had a large party in. You have to make reservations once you arrive and we staggered in. They said the wait would be longer than it actually was, so that's a plus. They have an interesting menu. And we definitely like variety. There was something for everyone. I ordered the Melon mimosa and chicken and waffles. They didn't pair well, but both were good. Their hot coffee machine was broken... I really wanted a latte! Our waitress was very friendly, and our food came out relatively quickly. I would definitely stop by here again when visiting Ohio. There is street parking and a lot across the street.

We walked in and was told there was a long wait but got seating in less than 15 minutes. Service by the hosts and servers was amazing, they're all very friendly. The food is very filling and is ever I'd want in a Sunday breakfast food. Cute diner ambiance inside too.

Delicious across the board. The portions are great, the mix of flavors is impressive and the flavor is really good. If you want something a little different for breakfast this is the place. Really enjoyed the breakfast tacos which were stuffed with eggs, chorizo and hoe potatoes. The dash of crema was a pleasant surprise. The Dubai Chocolate Pancakes were a nice breakfast dessert. It's like eating a cupcake for breakfast. Delicious. Service was friendly and fast.

What an excellent breakfast! We got lucky and scored 2 seats at the counter and had excellent service from Dani. It's a cool atmosphere with tons of action. They turn the tables over quickly. Lots of menu option. I enjoyed the French toast and the potatoes were fantastic

It appears to me that HangOverEasy is a high demand breakfast spot, because you can eat here and get a mimosa at the same time. I came for breakfast, and really enjoyed, the customer service, the food, and the artwork on the walls. I'm definitely going to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Chicken and waffles caught my eye and my stomach. The fried chicken was delicious. The waffle was good but had a weirdly strong chive taste from the butter. The pancakes were delicious. Super buttermilk flavor. The hash were undercooked but would have been delicious if cooked longer. The service was amazing, timely and attentive. The food was super affordable and worth it.

I anxiously arrived to the Parson street location on 12/19/21 at 9:15 am. I was seated immediately. I was a little concerned about the restaurant not enforcing socially distancing. I ordered "sloppy seconds" with French toast on the side, and had I known that the food would live up to it's name, I would have ordered coffee only. My French toast was under cooked, so I stuck to eating the edges only. My bacon was fried hard and delivered at room temp. My eggs were so cold that the cheese on top was frost bitten. The worst part of my meal, that I did report to the waitress was the potato's. All except three were burnt to a crisp....I informed the waitress that they were not edible and she did replace them with some fresh cold potato's. This was my first time eating at this restaurant, and probably my last. read more

Good food and service, fun vibe, cool decor. Dog-friendly patio. It gets crowded so don't sleep in. My western omelet was perfect and had shredded potato inside. I would have preferred traditional crispy hash browns on the side but the rye toast was very fresh and excellent. Seems like a neighborhood morning hotspot. read more

Went there for the first time I forget my waiters name, but he was alive and energetics funny, no filter. It was kind of awesome definitely will be eating there again and again great food and even got a better shirt when I left, he said all hoes like breakfast perfect T-shirt, lol keep up the good work. We were on our way traveling through Columbus and just happened by this spot. Absolutely amazing food, service, and preparation. I had the Reuben and my girlfriend had the black bean burger, which she claimed to be her favorite ever! I would put the Reuben in my tops list as well, and I try them just about anywhere I see them on a menu. Highly recommend! read more

Came here on a Sunday which wasn't a big deal. It was a line and they looked packed but only a 15 minute wait and it actually didn't feel that long. The food for me was meh. I wasn't blown away by anything. I thought HOE fires would be something different but just regular potatoes. I don't mind trying new things but it's not something I will brag about. read more

A delicious mistake! I ordered the Dirty. I received the breakfast quesadilla. The manager came out and apologized and brought me the dirty anyways.... of which I LOVED The breakfast quesadilla! Hubby had the cinnamon roll French and said quote " that was a delicious meal of food". I couldn't agree more. read more

So glad I finally made it here! I came late in the day for them (a little after 2 and they close at 3). They weren't super busy but had a decent crowd. Servers were super nice and not pushy even though it was nearing closing time. Food came out super quick and it was delicious! They also have $5 Bloody Marys and Mimosas - definitely grabbing some of those next time! They have a pretty diverse menu and offer something for everyone. If you are a breakfast or brunch lover, this is the place for you! read more

We'll I'll say I never knew this place was a restaurant because if your not paying attention you'll definitely miss it driving by. But there food is good. Descent prices as well.But it's not to spacious in there I feel like seating and walking space is very tight. Other than that I'd go back or go visit the one on N.High street. read more

Usually love this place but i had terrible service my last visit i didnt even get to eat. My and my friend arrive, and are told a 10 minute wait, that one group is ahead of us. sure, thats no issue at all. 10 minutes later we are told itll be 20 minutes. A new group shows up while we are continuing our wait. The hostess comes out and tells us that they are cleaning off this table infront of us and then we can be seated. We watch them clean the table off, then give it to the group that came after us (mind you we were told 30 minutes ago that we were second in line and the only people infront of us got seated after the first 10 minutes)!!!!! We tell them we were suppossed to be seated and we have been waiting patiently for our turn and they tell us we can wait for the next table! Unbelievable service. We just left read more

Breakfast tacos were delicious! We'll the filling was at least. The flour tortillas were actually falling apart so it would've been a good idea for them to double up cause the feeling got a little soggy. Overall breakfast foods were pretty basic and can't really be messed up but if you're a lover of breakfast this is the spot for you. Their on a college campus so def a younger crowd. Go w good company and you'll have a good time read more

Came here with my dad and brother, and we all loved it! Despite a 45 min wait (even at the new location), the wait was worth it. Loved the diner-esque ambience, felt pretty homey and old school which added to the experience. Menu is super extensive, which is great but also terrible for someone as indecisive as me! I am a sucker for sweet pancakes, so went with the Oatmeal Cream Pie pancakes, which did not disappoint. There was oatmeal/granola baked into the pancakes which added a nice crunch, and there was a vanilla cream infused/spread between the pancakes which added the extra sweetness. The pancakes had a good consistency - thick enough to hold all the extras but not so thick that I felt terribly full after m Tasted just like a Little Debbie snack cake! My brother got the same thing and was equally pleased. My dad got one of the omelettes, and he loved the pairing with avocados and pico de Gallo, as well as all the veggies. Lastly, even though we waited a while to be seated, service was incredibly fast and our waiter was so excellent. Definitely will be back to try the numerous other menu items! read more

Really friendly staff fun environment! Country music, inside and outside seating! Great bloody Mary's I wish I got the bartenders name cute blonde really out going! She made the best Bloody Mary for me! I was so hung over so I HAD to get the HOE BURGER it was amazing! And she got me right before I had to run and catch my flight! Actually inedible. They gave me an English muffin instead of a biscuit. And the potatoes were burned and chewy. Not to mention the flavors just tasted like shit. Don't waste your time, if you want good biscuits and gravy go to Dough Mama. read more

Super excited to have this spot in OTE! We never went to the original location because we didn't want to fight campus crowds and parking. The service here was awesome! The place is small but we got a spot at the bar right away. We had a carafe of mimosa (that's an entire bottle of champagne). The food was delicious with generous portions. First time dining for Brunch. Dine-in was great. Tables socially distanced and hand sanitizer at the table. Menu was online pulled up with your phone by QRcode. Server extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The corned beef is made fresh and it was tender and flavorful. I had the CBH (corned beef hash) comes with two eggs and toast but get the biscuit. It was tender and fluffy on the inside and a slight crunch on the top. Perfectly cooked dish. Came out and served hot off the griddle. Homemade syrup and local honey. Only one disappointment no REAL BUTTER. I HATE margarine and find it appalling that food this good would be served with it. Asked manager and he said nope they don't have butter. What a shame! read more

Food. Drinks. Shots(!?). It doesn't matter this place does it right. The Sloppy Seconds was a no question order for me and it did me justice after the night out previously. The name is honest advertising. Our server was incredible, made great recommendations on drinks and breakfast shots. While being busy and bustling, the wait was worth what we received. No doubt in my mind I will be returning with my friends soon. read more

terrible went to parsons location everyone was very nice but the food was terrible i had chicken fried steak which needed a chainsaw to cut it smothered with gravy eggs were ok home fries ok toast was hard almost stale definitely not worth it very disappointing read more

Normally this place is a great option and I've enjoyed dining with them a handful of times, however yesterday they really dropped the ball. After joining the waitlist, waiting the full wait time and checking in, we notice a table open up that would accommodate our party around 1 hour until close. We notice the hostess come to clear the table, but she does not fully clean it. We think it will just be a short while and she will eventually complete it, especially because we were very visibly waiting on the sidewalk, very clearly within her view from the restaurant. After about 10 minutes, the table is still not clear and no one has come out to check on us. When we go inside and ask her about our wait status, she tells us that she cannot check our position in line because "the iPad is dead" (again, this was 1 hour until close after waiting for around 2 hours). There was no apology or acknowledgment of our wait despite seeing us waiting while she was half-heartedly clearing the table. Upon noticing the sense of frustration of having to check in about this issue, the hostess rolls her eyes. After pointing out the table that could be cleared, we were seated and served, but at the end of the meal, I requested to speak to a manager about our experience. Someone claiming to be a manager greeted me, but seemed to lack a sense of authority, so I was skeptical. The explanation of the experience did not seem to really matter to her, as there was no real apology, and she did not bring the hostess into the conversation to help mend our previous interaction. I asked for another manager, but was told, "she is not in today". Ultimately, we reached a resolution, we tipped and left before close. I understand working in the service industry is very challenging and wait times are to be expected, especially in these times. However, that is no excuse to keep friendly, timely customers waiting when there is clear availability. This left a poor impression on our guests who were first time visitors. The takeaway is: If you happen to have an issue here, be warned your concerns may fall on deaf ears. You may even get attitude from staff that is not reprimanded by management. Also, if you're waiting, they may purposefully keep you waiting in hopes you will leave on your own. I hope for better experiences in future visits. read more

My wife and I started dinner at 5:45 and didn't leave until 8:45 and it was a lovely evening. We chatted for hours, sampled some absolutely delicious food, and just generally relaxed. We had a lovely server, but to say it was just a single person would do the staff injustice. I feel like every single employee in the place waited on us. All of the staff were knowledgable and gave off pretty cool, chill vibes. Three hours is a long meal, but the pacing was superb. Courses didn't come out like beats on a metronome. Rather, the pacing was changed to meet the waxing and waning excitement for the next plate of an absolutely enormous amount of food. The appetizers came in at a measured pace, the mains slowed, and then deserts were served rapid fire. Between courses, staff might stop by for a quit chat before moving on to the next pressing matter. Lots of staff offered their thoughts on their favorite dishes or suggestions on how a plate my be best enjoyed. The whole experience lacked any pressure or pretense. There were fine dining touches such as replacement of my wife's napkin after she stepped away for a break, but it felt more like eating at a cool friends house than it did eating in the ballroom of a palace. Do you know what I mean? You aren't going to Agni for opulence. You are going for a cool exciting food adventure that you aren't going to get many places and certainly very few in Columbus. We had the Midwest Tasting Menu. 11 courses? Something like that. It was expensive, but I don't even mind it. We loved the "Health Sodas" that were curated by the bartenders. My wife had a coconut, lime, and guava concoction and I had some else that was sweet and fruity and tart. The first few bites of pani puri with spiced ginger and then the "happy meal" and salad course really set the tone of a kitchen that puts out excellent dishes with balanced flavors. For me, the best bite of the night was the Thai noodle salad. It was just a perfect amount of spicy with lots of textures. Mine was served with tofu since I'm not a seafood lover and it was the best tofu preparation I've ever had. My wife's favorite was the "soup and salad" course which is hard to describe, but I agree that it was delicious. The low point of the evening's food for me was in the seafood course. My wife loved her actual seafood, but my vegetarian replacement was a miss. They served it with a piece of baby eggplant that was nearly raw; crunchy and practically inedible. I will forgive them, but I think that one needs to be rethought. The end of the meal had lots of little fun touches. The bill comes in a giant lego minifigure head. The restaurant provides a souvenir menu that lists all the dishes that were tried. There were some curated, store-bought candies for take away. All-in-all, it was just an excellent experience. Do yourself a favor and try it, but go hungry and maybe don't try to eat every bite of every dish so that you aren't hurting by the end of the night.
