I ate the fingers but you can see the pitiful amount of fries you get for $17

Used to love this place, but today was a major letdown. I've been coming to Hangry Joe's about once a week for a while now, so I know what a combo is supposed to look like. Today I paid $17 and got a sad little tray with maybe 13 waffle fries in it -- no exaggeration. I even took a photo because I couldn't believe it. When I called to let them know, the person on the phone implied it was my fault for not checking the food before I left. I went back (still in my work uniform, clearly just came from there), and asked to speak with a shift leader. She wouldn't tell me who that was and instead called someone from another store, who obviously couldn't understand the full context or do anything meaningful. They refused to refund me, and when they finally gave me a replacement order... there still weren't a lot of fries. So not only was I inconvenienced, but the issue wasn't even properly fixed. What really gets me is that a few months ago, during a heavy rainstorm when their credit card system was down, they gave me food for free without hesitation. But now, when I actually paid, they wouldn't take accountability for shorting me? I wasn't looking for a handout -- just the food I paid for. But the way this was handled really killed my trust in this location. You shouldn't lose a regular customer over something this small, but here we are.

We arrived at the restaurant, it was clean and just opening up. The young man behind the counter, was very friendly and professional, and took our order also made popular recommendations since it was our first time there. The restaurant also sells Boba drinks, which look pretty cool. My Daughter had the chicken wrap and I ordered the wings. Everything was delicious and fresh to order.

All i tasted was bread and not crispy. Will not be returning . The fries was not bad but the price was high and drink taste like syrup.

Place is empty. Just people waiting for orders. Service is terrible - think the person in the counter is stoned. Just trash.

Flavorful and spicy but I wish there was a little something to cut back on the spice available (ranch/celery). Loved the murals on the wall.

Good amount of seating. The food, I had gotten their steak sandwich, hesitant not sure if the meat would be tender or the portion would've been worth while, however, it exceeded my expectations! The meat was tender and easy to just bite through and eat! Good flavor and something I'd totally go back for! 4/5! The wings were decent, flavor was good, but too wet for my personal preference, and I prefer a bit more of a crunch with my wings not really a grilled taste but decent, prob wouldn't order again. 3/5

The sandwiches are not 'giant' like they're referred to but that's okay because u find the price to appropriately reflect what you get! The potatoes are yummy, it's essentially a trice baked potato stuck in a side dish cup. I got the Lombardo expecting it to be more warm and exciting but was very underwhelmed. And I had big pieces of gristle I had to take out of my mouth from both halves of the sandwich. But a convenient spot to eat if you find yourself in the area!

It's not filled with bells and whistles and the most modern decor. They don't need that. What attracts a lot of people to this place is the delicious food and the great service. I cannot stress that enough. The soups are phenomenal here and they are filled with stuff inside. You're not going to get that watery type soup. You're getting that chunky chunky chunky soup that makes you wonder why you're so full all of a sudden. The people work hard here and they are running around. They make sure you're doing alright. This is a true "mom and pop" type of shop that is worth it - multiple visits. I can see this place getting more popular than the space can handle. Perhaps they will expand elsewhere, but they deserve that success.

There are a few tables out front, but we were lucky enough to snag the single two‑seat table inside, which added to the charm. We shared the muffuletta, served on a soft hoagie roll and layered with Juliet's homemade tapenade. It was excellent--bright, briny, and beautifully balanced. You can tell everything here is crafted with intention. A wonderful stop for anyone who loves authentic Italian flavors and a genuinely inviting atmosphere. I don't believe 6 adults could stand inside comfortably for long. It was quite cluttered too. We placed our order and opted to wait outside. We were told that it would take 15-20 minutes to receive our order of two paninis. We ordered the Italian (prosciutto, sopressata, homemade mozzarella cheese, and sliced garden tomatoes, homemade basil pesto) & the Sicilian (spicy capocolla ham, homemade mozzarella cheese, sliced garden tomatoes, and red onions, homemade basil pesto). The sandwiches were quite tasty. I especially loved the delicious bread. The meats seemed fresh and the pesto was tasty! The sandwiches got the spot! Our paninis were approximately $12 a piece. I highly recommend calling your order in for pick-up. There's one small table with two chairs... It's not a dine-in restaurant. Parking an be tricky, but there is a designated parking space outside the building.
