I was new to Twin Falls and needed help managing my lawn and Hanks was recommended by a neighbor. I've had them for a year now and could not be happier. They handle my mow & blow every week and I have hired them for extra tasks like brush clearing and sprinkler repairs. For an extra fee they will even put up your Christmas lights. When they started this busness they were very good. I hired them again a couple of years ago to mow my lawn weekly. What a difference! They hire day laborers who don't care how they leave the yard. Some have walked off the job half way though and then left my gate open and my dogs got out. I would never hire them again. I'm surprised they are still in business. read more

I purchased my home in 2020 in anticipation of my retirement. I needed lawn care until my arrival in 2022. When I arrived in August 2022, my yard was covered in crab grass and dandelions. There were six foot tall weeds on the side of my house. This guy did nothing but drive a mower once a week. I received no phone calls about additional services that may be needed or weeds were growing toward the roof. The owner then seemed truly shocked that I fired him. This companies incompetence and complete lack of customer service will cost me thousands of dollars to correct. Do not hire Hanks custom lawn care. read more

I posted a good review for them last year but I am not this time. They have gone very down hill since my last review. They used to be consistent in their work but that has changed. They don't come out when scheduled and if they miss a mow you have to call them and the receptionist seems to not have a clue. They also billed myself and my mom for 3 mows a piece last year that they did not do.....had to watch them like a hawk. The quality of their work has suffered as well. read more

Good for builders apparently, absolutely pathetic service when it comes to homeowners. No follow up, no customer service. Phone calls result in nothing more than a voicemail. Have begged for months for them to follow up on issues with initial landscaping. Met with nothing other than broken promises, lip service and absolutely no follow up. Customer service is non-existent in this organization. Use this landscaper only if you are desperate. read more

I have used this team for the last couple years, for landscaping and yearly spring cleanup. They do an amazing job! Brad and team will respond to phone calls extremely fast, are very responsive to requests/lawn needs, and do an AMAZING job. I cannot recommend them more highly! read more

At first I was impressed by how speedy they were to come out and take care of my needs. I did ask for amounts to have one rain gutter above the garage only cleaned out and automated sprinklers blown out for the year. I was given $35 for the sprinkler blowout and $45 for the rain gutter but after explaining it was only above my garage it would be more like $35; after hearing the pricing I had them go ahead and clean the gutter. I received a bill in the mail today and it is more than they even quoted me, $50. I called to discuss this and the gal I spoke with said it just took longer than they anticipated even for such a small area and that is what the bill is. When I questioned her about being more than she stated she said it was only an estimate... no working with the customer. If it was going to be more than the price given, they should have contacted me because at no time was I told it was an estimate. They are receiving two stars as the gentleman that was out to blow out my sprinklers was very polite and professional. I would not recommend them to anyone in the future as they do not stand behind the pricing provided. read more

They are a large company that hires many people who often are not trained. I'd been using them for a while and suddenly found some serious damage to my house. The riding mower(s) hit the corner of my house, hit the corner column of my patio cover, hit the corner of the stone front entry. It would take too long to describe the damage they did. Sickening.
