    Spicy Beef Noodle Soup

Wow was this so good!! I can't wait to come back here. I definitely want to try everything in the menu! I ordered the Banh mi chao, it is DELICIOUS! All of the meats were great, I love that it is a create your own bite. I loved both the filet mignon and the pork loaf. The pate was the perfect spread. I would order this again and again. My dad had the spicy noodle soup and he loved it. I tried a few sips of the broth, it has a great depth of flavor. Coming from Long Beach where we have tons of great soups, I loved this broth. The netted egg rolls were also delicious. Such an interesting texture. We really enjoyed these The Thai tea was standard, and the lychee lemonade was delicious! Service was great, we got our food really quickly. They've done an amazing job with the place. There is a beautiful mural on the wall and the light fixtures were really intricate. I hope more and more people support this great new restaurant!

Pork appetizer, never had this in usa . Pham said they got a special machine from Vietnam for this, it's amazing.

Great food, this is the first time I've had north Vietnamese food as being from socal/ Torrance we have tons of southern and central Vietnamese spots (hue food). The pork appetizer (in my pics) was excellent and I want to try the grilled pork vermicelli dish next per the owners Phams recommendation, as I love vermicelli dishes (but been let down alot in oc/ la by them). The loma saltado dish with a Vietnamese spin was good and is a trend with my friends Vietnamese restaurants in Torrance, and it's both tender and very fresh the vegetables, I'd reckon the same topping on garlic noodles (which they offer) would be amazing. Parking is great here and it shares the plaza with a few other restaurants and I think a mega church. The ambience is a modern elevated family restaurant, super clean, with utensils and condiments at every table, and tons of room for large parties, very clean bathroom (cleanest i seen at any restaurant locally, including big chains). Has the cool neon sign inside as well like clubs and boba shops locally.

Woodland and surrounding communities should be very happy Hanoi 36 Streets settlers here for their second location. We enjoyed the Netted Egg Rolls, filled with pork, egg, and some veggies. Served with a Nouc Cham, Vietnamese dipping sauce. Is had a nice spicy bite. I had the Grilled Pork & Pork Egg Rolls (Com Suon Nuong). Delicious grilled pork served with rice, veggies, and a netted egg roll. The pork was freshly grilled and packed with a lemon grass flavor. The Vermicelli Bowl (Bun Thit Nuong) was next. Serve with grilled pork, daikon radish and cucumbers. This was a very refreshing dish. If they hire some local help to keep out the outstanding service, Hanoi 36 Streets will be a Woodland staple for a long time.

Hands down solid 5 stars!!! Food: generous portion on all dishes. Bahn mi chao- served with a baguette. Meat was tender, eggs were cooked to perfection, sauce was very flavorful and to top it off served on a skillet. Grilled pork with noodles- pork was tasty, noodles were good but I prefer mine with rice. Vermicelli bowl with tofu- pretty good too and everything is fresh. Service was excellent. They got pretty busy but still had time to check on us. The staff has great personality and have a sense of humor. Pham, Phuong and Ann were so nice and happy to serve. There were also workers in the back but were pretty busy. Place is spacious and the bathrooms are clean. Lots of shared parking with other businesses. Highly recommend this place. Will be back again.

Everything was good, nice service. The staff was happy singing to back ground music. It came out quickly with a smile.

Came by for a quick lunch and enjoyed the spacious atmosphere. Nicely decorated, bright, and clean. Service was prompt and friendly from start to finish. Ordered the fresh spring rolls and pork bahn mi. The spring rolls were very tasty and I loved that they had pork and shrimp inside. The peanut sauce wasn't my favorite, though. It was a little too pasty and thick and lacked flavor. The bahn mi was okay. Loved the bread and crunch and the pork was well cooked. I would have enjoyed it more if the veggies were more strongly pickled and if there were sliced jalapenos. It was a bit dry and bland, but still tasted fresh! The lychee lemonade was very tasty! I'll come again to try some other dishes.

Review posted during soft opening. Stopped by for dinner on a weeknight to check out this new spot. We were pleasantly surprised by the interior and decorations. It's very spacious, clean, and modern. The mural on the wall is great too. The service was fine, friendly enough. My server didn't ask me what size pho or what kind of noodles I wanted though, which is okay. We ordered the netted egg rolls,Special Pho (#P1), and the bun cha Hanoi. Unfortunately, we weren't very impressed by either main dish. The pho was quite sweet and very aromatic forward (star anise, cloves, that kind of thing). The noodles were okay, and honestly the meat was the star of the show. It just wasn't my type of broth, but maybe others will enjoy it. I also was underwhelmed by the veggies on the side. I got two small sprigs of Thai basil, some bean sprouts, and jalapeños. The bun cha Hanoi was okay. We've had better, but the weakness of this dish was the lack of veggies. We had only lettuce and some old mint. I feel like any good Viet noodle dish needs those fresh herbs. The pork patties and meat in fish sauce were good though. The netted egg rolls were pretty good, very crispy and filling tasted pretty good. However, once again it needed the veggies. We were thinking that this would be great with larger pieces of lettuce to wrap around the egg rolls. Overall, we felt like the food was just okay. The portion sizes were good, but the substance just wasn't up to par. The weakness of this restaurant is the herbs. I wanted more volume and variety. I do think our standards are higher though, since we frequent restaurants in Vietnamese hubs south sac, San Jose, and Westminster pretty frequently. I feel like this place is a good intro for people who want to explore Vietnamese food, beyond pho a little more. I saw banh mi chao (hot skillet with steak and bread) and bun Bo hue on the menu as well. Reading people's reviews, it seems like the banh mi chao is a hit. I'd like to come back and try, since I've also had this dish in many other places. I also am curious to see how it changes after the official grand opening. Like I said, I'd like to come back and try again. As a Vietnamese American, I'm always here to support Viet food.

The service was good and the food was very good! The atmosphere is casual and good for families. It's great to have another option in Woodland! I highly recommend this place especially if you like Pho or Vietnamese food!

Got to finally try this place after being turned down yesterday. 4 stars for them turning us down and not doing a to go order yesterday when it was only 7:16pm. I wanted to try their pho today but I guess they ran out. This time we came a little after 6pm. Soooo I ordered the stir fry steak banh mi was absolutely delicious! The meat was flavorful and marinated well. My bf ordered the banh mi choa he said that he really liked it. I think he wanted my sandwich though. I was still hungry and wanted dessert they had no dessert on the menu which was a bummer. Food came out fast and server was friendly (only one). Inside looked very aesthetic. My bf said the bathrooms were very nice. Will definitely be coming back for more banh mi and to try their iced Vietnamese next time or maby some garlic noodles.

We decided to grab a bite on the way to the airport and chose this place. There were 3 of us and we ordered 1 Pho 1 Pho with tendon, 1 Netted roll and 1 fresh Spring roll. We also got the Lychee lemonade, Jasmine tea and Vietnamese ice coffee. The place was nice and clean. It was their Soft Opening. The service was awful, and we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. She forgot our drinks, we had to teeming her, and she brought over Thai tea instead of the lemonade. And the coffee was strong and not sweet at all. I had to go to the counter and ask for some condensed milk. And the Hot tea came in a metal cup! A freaking metal cup! It was to hot to hold, so my husband didn't drink it. The meat in the Pho was dry and overcooked, but the tendon was nice. The broth was delious. The Netted roll had no flavor except oil. That was all I tasted. Oil. The Fresh Spring roll was ok. We asked for no meat, but it came with the biggest piece of beef/pork. The peanut sauce didn't look right but tasted ok. We left the food on the table, paid and will not be back.

This was it my pho but so hard can't eat/swallow it.

To start, I ordered the fried chicken wings, and to my surprise, they weren't even hot when served. The texture of the meat inside also made them seem old or not freshly made, which was not a great first impression. For the main meal, I had the BBQ beef plate with egg, spring roll, and shrimp. The biggest issue for me was the rice -- it was unexpectedly hard, and the entire plate arrived cold. I honestly couldn't believe it because who wants cold food, especially for the first meal of the day? The shrimp was also extremely salty for my taste, to the point that I only managed to eat one piece and left the other two untouched. The beef and egg were okay, but it was hard to fully enjoy them because the food overall lacked freshness and warmth.
