Had 2 visits with Elizabeth and now I have people asking me what happened to my eyebrows. She did not take enough time to determine exactly what shape would look best and also didn't really listen to what I wanted. She talks a lot and very quickly so she doesn't really let you get a word in edgewise. It's been over a year since I saw her and the color of the pigment in my brows has faded to a sort of pinkish tone. It's awful. My goal was to stop filling in my eyebrows everyday since they are a bit sparse. Now I have to fill them in everyday just to cover up the pinkish faded tone that pops out from behind my brows. I called Anastasia of Beverly Hills to ask them for a recommendation for permanent makeup, thinking they would know of a good professional that brings great results. They sent me to Elizabeth Hanratty. I'm really disappointed in both Anastasia and Elizabeth on the result. When I called Elizabeth to talk about the problem, she insisted I come back and she would further work on them. I told her there was no chance of that. I could not risk another bad result after having a bad result in the first place. I think she should refund all or at least part of my payment, but she's unwilling to do so. read more

I went to her for years. She can be quite gruff. I felt she did good work until there was a problem with my brow shape. She became rude and abusive to me and kicked me out and told me to never come back. I believe that she couldn't correct the poorly shaped brows she created and and somehow tried to blame me rather than try to help me and correct the problem ; kept my cool despite her rudeness. read more

I have been having my permanent makeup done by Elizabeth for years. If I point out to someone my eyeliner they are always so impressed by the quaility of the job. People always think I have makeup on when I don't. I now live in Washington State and continue to go to Elizabeth not only for make-up but for waxing and dying my eye lashes and eyebrows. She is the best. I could not recommond her more highly. She is has a fabulous personality. There is not anyone I have sent to Elizabeth that has not come away being totally satisfied with what they have gotten done. read more

I love Elizabeth! I met her when I was working in the operating room one day and she came in to do make up tattooing for a patient while they were under general anesthesia. I was able to see her work firsthand and thought she did a great job. I was happy to have finally found a person to go to for my make up tattooing needs. I was researching places and people for over a year now and was not convinced enough to make a decision. Either the prices were ridiculous or I just didn't like the results. Elizabeth made me feel comfortable and was flexible in scheduling given my grueling work schedule. My first appointment with her was on a Saturday afternoon. She applies numbing cream and so it does not hurt one bit. She did my eyebrows which I went back to for the second time today. She picked a color that wasn't too dark since I like to color my hair lighter and she uses hair strokes to make it look more natural. I also had her do my eyeliner which did not hurt one bit due to the numbing cream. But burns a little while the numbing cream wears off as I was driving home. But not unbearable. Her prices are also very reasonable given her expertise! She does not only cosmetic but reconstructive tattooing as well. I'm excited to see the final results of her work. There is valet parking in the building and she will validate your parking. The appointment will take about 30 mins to an hour depending on what your having done. Went to Elizabeth to get a terrible previous eyebrow job corrected and done right! She is a true artist ... so sweet and makes it very relaxing. No pain at all...unlike where I went before. She is such a beautiful person. A pleasure. read more
