My son's house had a roof leak caused by a bent vent flashing. The job was originally done by Hans Schmidt's company, and it needed to be fixed. My wife and I drove to his modest older office in an industrial area, and were delighted to talk to Mr. Hans Schmidt himself. He proved to be a very affable and considerate gentleman. He agreed to send someone out to inspect and repair the flashing as soon as possible. Which is good, because it has been rainy lately. I was very surprised (and pleased) to see the very excellent collection of model cars and trucks in the anteroom to Mr. Schmidt's office. He was very proud of his collection, and yes, is a Harley Davidson fan to boot. That sort of made me a fan of him. read more
