Old fashioned pet store…read more It's old fashioned in as much as its laid out in a fashion more akin to a store in an Istanbul souk rather than the modern minimalist clean cut ways of the west. Stacked to the rafters with pet parafenalia it's the place to get all your pet needs met. For fellow cat owners they sell catnip mice that cause our cat to go a little mental and within a couple of days disembowel the cheap little toy. She loves 'em and it's a pleasure to watch her go mental.

They have a variety of livestock in the shop, either for sale (guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, hamsters, birds, fish etc.) or to "help" customers (a beautiful cat and several lovely dogs). Before I discovered this pet supplies store, I was buying from Amazon, which was often sold out of the only type of litter I liked. When I found this store, I saw they had a huge selection of everything, from dry and wet cat food, to raw treats to litter, toys...you name it. Prices are really competitive - beats or matches what I have found on Amazon but without having to wait for shipping. Their membership card is free and a portion of the store's proceeds go to charity of your choice. You can also find small pets here: small birds and parrots, gerbils, rabbits and chinchillas. They also have dog grooming. Those who say you can get a better deal at Tesco obviously aren't picky about the quality of products they are getting for their pets. I don't buy my cat any processed junky crap you find at Tesco and Sainsburys - I once had a cat develop IBS as a result of that sh*tty food. I only buy grain free organic now with as few ingredients as possible. I want my cat to live a long healthy life and stores like this make it possible. Keep your Tesco crap, I care too much about my kitty baby to feed him just anything. Well done, Pets at Home.

Disappointed not to see any terrapins but they have rabbits and some fish instead. Also grooming place for dogs, but I never used it as I groom myself at a hairdresser.

We had our first appointment four weeks ago when my dog needed her boosters. Roland, who's surgery it is, had booked extra time for our appointment so he could get to know Ponyo and me, which I thought was a fabulous idea. It made me feel very welcomed. We went through all the options regarding Ponyo's booster shots, what's was available and necessary. The surgery itself is a very clean, well designed space, with a few retail bits such as beds and crates and food. There's a separate waiting area for dogs and cats as well. Overall very happy that I chose this vet. Now let's hope I only need to come here once a year for routine check ups!!

I booked an appointment and was then charged the full consultation fee of £42 along with the other charges. The male receptionist was very patronising and told me no one would have told me this as there is no such thing. Received a call from Roland the following day who also stated that there must have been a misunderstanding as he would not say that and did not remember speaking to me over the phone. He did offer me the £42 off on my cats vaccinations bill next time i come in as a good gesture will which was not good enough for me as i didn't appreciate the way the receptionist spoke to me or the fact that Roland had said when people hear the word free they tend to concentrate on that and not hear anything else that comes after that! When i said i'd rather have the money refunded to me i was told this was not something he could do. Which i find very strange considering he's the owner of the practice. I guess it's a way of conning people into booking an appointment. Very disappointed

He's usually groomed elsewhere every month and it's a bit of a worry as he's always nervous And a lot of groomers are a little frightened as he's a big boy. The lady was absolutely fantastic from the minute we arrived with him, fluffing around him, very confident with him and very loving, she was speaking to him and petting him, letting him smell her and making a real fuss.. which he loved!! when I picked him up he was full of beans, with the big rottie smile and bouncing.. oh he had had lots of fun !! He was singing whilst the blow drier was on.. which she found so funny !! My Bruce is my baby and so loved And I'm sure we all worry about our adored pets.. I would recommend Staines branch without any hesitation. I booked again straight away and asked where I can leave a recommendation as I'm sure for any responsible pet owner it's always good to know your loved pets are well looked after and most importantly .. happy... and so reasonably priced .. of course he had everything !!! The staff were very knowledgable and attentative with helping customers. They had a vast selection of pets and supplies to suit anything you would need. As a childless…read morecouple, our cats are our family, our children, so one of our biggest concerns when we move is finding a good petsitter in our new neighborhood. Debs at Feline Happy was our petsitter for our five kitties during the entire time we lived in Finchley, and she did a great job. Our kitties love her and though we travel frequently, we always come home to happy, well-fed cats and clean litter boxes. When we first contacted Debs, she was available to come meet the kitties and start petsitting on short notice. We had an initial meeting, and even our shy kitty Oliver went right up to her to be petted, which amazed me. (Usually he hides if strangers are around) I think the cats sensed that she was a pet person, and she was very good with gaining their trust. Over time, we've found that Debs was always available through Christmas and other holidays, so we didn't have to worry about having multiple petsitters. She's fully insured, as is her husband, so even in the event of an emergency, you can be confident that your kitties are in safe hands. We've never had any kind of issues with the kitties getting sick while we were away, but I know I could trust Debs to take great care of them and to make sure they receive any medical care they might need. We give Debs our highest recommendation, and we're confident you'll be happy with her services!

Lydia attends with one of her own dogs who sort of shows you how it's done and there were 5 other people with their dogs. One of the reasons I chose Dogsandstuff was because almost all the other puppy classes out there have between 15 and 20 dogs and it all gets a bit out of control (I attended one in Enfield before this one, but didn't bother going back). Being one of only 6, you get plenty of one to one attention at this one. I couldn't say that she was now fully trained, but she's well on the way.
