I had been suffering from back and knee pain for five years with a significant limp. I had seen several doctors who prescribed a variety of medications with multiple diagnosis's and even recommended a major knee surgery that was not needed. All my pain was due to the leg length discrepancy that Dr. Yakel found using a computer measuring tool. He prescribed that my right shoe be built up as my leg length discrepancy was 3/4 of an inch. I've had my shoes built up and after a month of wearing them I have no limp and can walk my dog again and function without pain. I hope this review helps others and that you see Dr. Yakel if you suspect a leg length discrepancy or have a severe limp you can't figure out. He was kind, empathetic and really cared about me. Dr Atherton was very professional, nurturing and honest with my daughter regarding the procedure and the temporary pain she would feel when getting her toes numb.
