But they do have a decent variety of different milk tea & drink, as one of the largest global boba chains. There's something to be said for consistency, fast service and good deals. Recently their May special was the Sago Taro Milk Tea ($5.50) and which was a good entry drink with chewy sago pearls and a smooth taro tea. You've still got the usual milk teas like 2 Ladies (puddings + pearls) or 3 Guys (with grass jelly too). Their Brown Sugar Pearl drink w/ macchiato cream on top may not look stunning yet is a mouth amuser. And the Bubble GaGa is a bold passion fruit juice topped with coconut jelly & tapioca. Of the boba ordering apps, CoCo seems to have the best iPhone app which can be used to order without credit card info. Then get a text when drinks are ready, usually within 5 mins at this location! Skip it or hit it? It's a quick relatively affordable BBT option if the craving hits.

My friend, Nadia, was with me for dinner. She didn't need a drink, but was great accompanying me over here She brought up a Happy Lemon Yelp experience that we had years ago. She was right. Happy Lemon was where this CoCo is. It's a bubble tea joint for another one, which explains how tough it is to say afloat in the market. We were the only customers in the store. She took a seat on a rather cozy bench in front of the CoCo logo on the right. I headed up to the counter. The man who helped me with my order was great. My usual order is a large strawberry black tea (no sugar and less ice) with coconut jelly. It's my favourite drink at CoCo. No other joint does it was well as this place does. I entered my phone number to continue earning points towards free drinks and more. I then paid with a credit card. I tapped and tipped. Done! I joined my friend as he and his colleague were making my drink. They were so fast. I wasn't even seated! I was putting away my card in my wallet. The nice man said that my drink was ready. Holy! I was happy. I thanked both of them, grabbed my drink, and we both headed out the door. We said bye and headed our separate ways. I drove home sipping on my bubble tea. I absolutely loved my drink. CoCo is consistent. I've never had horrible strawberry black tea. It was perfect and yummy. It's the black tea-strawberry-coconut jelly combination that is so good. I'm glad that I dropped by to get my bubble tea fix. There's no seating as far as I saw and the waiting area is quite narrow. This is more of a grab and go place. The employees were quick and helpful, and we got our orders fast. I had the coconut cream tea. It was decent, but the coconut taste wasn't super present and the drink had a powdery artificial taste to it. My boyfriend got the watermelon slushie which I thought was much better. It tasted exactly like fresh watermelon. He ordered it with no sugar, which was good since the drink had natural sweetness. I got this drink with less sugar and less ice, as I wasn't sure how tart the lemon part of this drink would be. I also added coconut jelly. The app said that it would take twenty minutes for my drink to be made. I arrived at this plaza at around 8 pm. It was busy around the eateries. Luckily, I found parking next to Jo's Cha. For years, I avoided this area like the plague because it was busy and parking was chaotic. It was the complete opposite when I got there. There was a lone car parked in front of the store. I parked next to it and walked in. The store is cute. I would think that it was much cuter before the pandemic. There was a little whirlpool that was empty. I looked at older photos and it had colour balls and plushies. It looks like the mascot is either a llama or alpaca, which made my day! I talked to the woman behind the counter. She was so friendly. I indicated that I had an Uber Eats order. She pointed at the bag in front of her and said that it was mine. I was thrilled. I thanked her and left with my goodies. I had the drinks when I got home. Let's talk about packaging. So much care went into it. Both my drinks were in a crate in the paper bag with a cool camouflage motif. At this store, I was able to specify that I didn't want any sugar in my drinks. I didn't have that option at Deer Mango. The lowest sugar option was 30%. The small pineapple chunks in the blue curacao drink were yummy. I love this drink so much. It wasn't sweet. It had carbonation. It was pretty. It tasted great! I then had the pink peach drink. It was so good with the small strawberries. The peach flavour worked well with the strawberry bits. I loved the fizziness. It also made me feel like it was summer drinking this beverage.
