It is all cooked fresh to order and is very nice. I personally recommend the chicken tikka and plain rice as that is what I usually have. Once phoned through, your order usually takes about 15 minutes. If you have a large order the staff sometimes sneak in a few extras for free (poppadoms, etc). When I've been in there with my young son he also gets a free lollipop - a sure winner to keep him quiet. Personally, I've not been in the restaurant but I have heard good reviews from friends who have.

They appear to use local businesses for much of their produce which is always a bonus these days.- The service is often a little slow for my liking but they are usually friendla and helpful for those of us who are a little undecisive. The hot food counter has lots of pastry based foods such as pies pasties and sausage rolls. There is a wide selection of drinks both hot and cold and also some organic fayre which is on the expensicve side but possibly worth it.

The service is noticeably slower if you eat in and the layout in the cafe, now it has been redecorated has led to many people leaving without buying anything. They have introduced a seperate area on a platform which means the elderly and anyone with very young children can't sit at certain tables as it is awkward to get up and down. It has also reduced the space for tables. Since redecorating, the prices have gone up but its still good food none the less and I'll continue to go there.
