Fun to walk thru and see the displays... kinda corny but I like it. Also, fun to see all the people taking pictures outside. Nice to see people enjoying themselves. Just missed the rock band performing on the outdoor stage there. Check schedules for various entertainment and events.

The…read morelighting of the tree has taken place around the end of November or the first part of December, every single year ever since 1992! Santa always personally shows up and it attracts thousands of people every year officially launching the holiday season in Delray Beach. Every year on January 1st the tree and carousel are dismantled and packed away for next year's fun. The 3,000 branches of the 100 foot treeree are decorated with 39,000 ornaments and the top is crowned with an 18 foot high star. At night it is lit up with 15,000 LED lights. The city sets out photo opportunities around the tree and you can walk inside the tree and see replicas of four historic buildings in Delray Beach, The Sundy House, Cornell Museum, Spady Museum, and the Delray Train Depot. Each building has a holiday scene reflecting the historic building it is in. The Sundy House has animated reindeer and elves, the Cornell Museum features penguins, the Spady Museum has children singing carols, and the Delray Train Depot has a train display. While it is free to visit the tree a $1 donation is suggested. The city also sells $3 tickets at the Gingerbread House for ice skating and the holiday carousel set up outside. Visiting the tree is a great family outing and there is a parking garage next door and many great restaurants, ice cream shops, shops, and art galleries within walking distance along Atlantic Avenue. You can make a whole afternoon or evening of visiting the famous 100 Foot Christmas tree.

Located conveniently off Griffin Rd, it's hard to miss & has plenty of parking in the front. It seems like there's always a couple of employees walking around who are eager to help out. Their space is not massive by any means but it's set up to get the most out of it & they do it well. It's clearly sectioned off so you can easily find what you're looking for. Trees, native & exotic plants, fruit & vegetable plants, succulents, flowers; there's no shortage of variety here. They also do a good job at rotating their selection. I like that there's usually something new to me when I visit. For the most part, prices are great. If you're on a budget, you can walk away with an armful of succulents or small potted flowers for under $15. Also, There's always a sale of some sort. Like other places, they have things that are very expensive but at least the quality of these products seem good. Supporting local businesses is always a great thing to do so I try to stop by here monthly. If you're a fan of gardening or want to get started, this is a great place to check out. You'll even enjoy "window shopping" if you just want to see what this nursery is all about.

The concept of the store was to offer a wide selection of hardware products while employing highly trained sales associates who could teach customers how to complete home improvement projects, such as laying tile or using power tools. The company also offered clinics and workshops to teach customers how to use its products. Home Depot has since grown to more than 2,200 stores across three countries. It's amazing how far Home Depot has come from its original concept. I have been spending a fair amount of time at Home Depot lately as we work on some home refresh projects. Our latest project involves replacing the fascia boards on the front of the house. Much of the wood we looked at had cracks in it. We carefully examined every piece in the store, yet we still have to go back and replace one of the boards because we noticed another crack once we saw it in the sunlight. You have to be careful when buying wood here since every piece varies in quality. They do cut it to size for you, which is helpful. I also appreciate the self-checkout because the lines are never long. What makes this Home Depot different from every other one? It is close to I-95, and the Sabrett hot dog and sausage cart out front is always a welcome treat.

Oh, I've seen them in all sizes, but the ones that fly freak me out the most. Home Depot has a wide selection of insecticide brands for indoor and outdoor use for target pest(s). Prices vary by application: home barriers, baits and traps, foggers, and concentrated sprays. I made a brief visit to purchase a can of Raid Ant & Roach spray, which I have used for years and it doesn't disappoint. The spray kills on contact, leaving a residue that lasts for weeks.
