Just love how the owner of this nail salon gets irritated with me for quietly and discreetly suggesting she might not want her kid to blast the latest Bad Boys movie in her place of business. This woman always seems to be in some mood, is never friendly, rarely smiles, etc. Her husband, on the other hand, is the total opposite. I only come here because its one of the few salons in town that accepts debit cards and isnt touting pro-Trump garbage. Oh, and the movie is still blasting. I've never said a word til now, been coming here for over a year. Only made this suggestion because English isnt their 1st language and I wasn't sure if she was even aware of all the F-bombs in that film. I told her I personally loved the Bad Boys franchise, but it's not really very appropriate for a public place of business, such as this, or for a kid that's only about 10. They do OK work, but that ambience and the female owner's customer service skills could really use drastic improvement. Sorry, guys. I recently just went there last week and my nails cracked and popped off 2 days after getting them done. They were in such a rush and messed up my pedicure as well. The gel was smudged and gooped in one place. Honestly they must have changed their vendor for product that's the only way it could explain the quality. I've never had an issue before. In Pahrump it is difficult to get a same day appointment for manicures and pedicures. I was delighted to find that this shop could take me. Ummmmm now I know why. I must say my nail color is nice and my nails look good- but in this case the ends do not justify the means. The gentleman is very friendly but...very loud- and has a "potty mouth" when he speaks English. 90% of my visit he and the lady who did my pedicure spoke in Vietnamese and there was no attempt to communicate with me. I was able to understand some of the man's vulgarities tho. I wanted a manicure and was told I'm better off getting gel. So I got gel- the dryer was absolutely filthy as was the table. I got the equivalent of a "color change" at other salons. No massage, no soaking, no cuticle care, no lotion on my hands. Next came the pedicure. Knowing how filthy the equipment in the front was, I was hesitant go in the back to the foot tubs. I observed no spa cleaning and have no way to know if they even clean them- as they are out of the customer's view until they are full. The massage chair was mediocre at best and I was given the perfunctory "turn on the power button" instruction on how the controls work. I got nail polish on my toes and a trim. The massage lasted less than 3 minutes and the lotion was a watery blend of some kind. Didn't even have a distinguishable scent. I have no calluses so there was not much done to my feet- no cuticle trim or anything. No top coat either. The bill? $40.00! That's an average or cheap price but certainly not for this kind of service. read more

I wish there was negative star's I could give this location. I went in yesterday for the first time and had the worst service from the owner. First he started doing my nails in a mayor rush like he was being pressured, then he gets up and goes on eBay to start shopping from items for his shop. Asked him for coffin shape nails and clearly did not happen. I then asked him if he had time to finish my nails without him rushing and doing a horrible job he then got upset and started to rush even more. When time for polish my 5 year old daughter could've done a better job. I asked him nicely still if he could please polish my nails again and there he started yelling to "go back to North Las Vegas were I came from and to get the f out his shop" obviously I didn't until I got my nails fixed because I had already paid for them. Then he starts yelling "go back to your country. I wish I knew we're you live so I can throw ice on you you imagrant b" his wife had to finish up my nails while he was in the back yelling racist remarks. WORST service I my life with this man. Looked this gem up here in yelp. Read the reviews and still gave them a shot. During this pandemic we are all experiencing new structure. This salon took all the precautions to provide a safe and sanitary environment. Booked my appointment and they seated me quickly. My pedicure was amazing and had a gel manicure as well. I must say, today is one week from having my manicure and pedicure and have had zero chipping or peeling from the gel. This salon out performed with their service and products they use. Every time I have had a gel manicure it peels within three days and I always say I'll never pay it again. Then I do...And I am not regretting paying for it this time! The worst nails and worst customer service and worst tanning beds. Dirty place and they lie to get your money. Seems like it's a couple that own the place and work there together. 1.I tanned here until I tried somewhere else that I got color 10 times faster, which proves their beds either suck and need repair/replacement or they aren't changing out bulbs in at the appropriate times which means they are ripping people off. 2. The place is dirty, no proper sanitation procedures...actually NO SANITATION done by them at all during their services! 3. I went in with really nice pink and white acrylics that needed to be filled. He said he can't do backfill on pink and white so I wasn't going to get my nails done there. But then he said that he could do a pink and white full set just like mine...which was puzzling, then he said it's easier his way. Then he had me soak my fingers in acetone for 15 mins when he said it'd only be 3 mins. My fingers hurt to the bone being in that chemical so long...but ok, I thought, I guess he has to get the old ones off. Eventually they were off and he took out white tips, which is not white acrylic! Then he said "it's better that way" and got mad at me for questioning and telling him that's not what I want. He convinced me to stay and let him show me, then he took out some "white glitter" that turned out to be clear glitter acrylic that he put on top of white plastic tips. So I thought, I guess I'll see. I like my nails long and showed him where I wanted them cut and he argued with me and cut them all too short. Then I told him they were too short again and he got frustrated and rude. When he took out his pink acrylic he said I should do regular light pink color instead cause his darker pink would lift too soon, that's what HE said. So I agreed. It was not pink at all! You can see all my damaged nail right through...damage caused by him removing the others. His acrylic application is all lumpy and messy and is visible in the finished product:-( shiny bumps. When he was filing I tried to show him how I wanted it and he got angry....unable to contain his frustration ....all wanted was smooth edges so I don't scratch myself. Bad! Bad! Bad! All around. I'll never go there again! He didn't tell me the truth each step of the way...and his English IS good so can't be chalked up to language barrier. $40 of crappy nails I'll have to pay to have taken off. read more
