Today, our daughter is in the summer camp program and our son will be starting in the kindergarten class soon. Needless to say we've had a long, wonderful, run. Many of the teachers have been there since we arrived. Our son loves walking through the school - all of the staff saying hello to him. They really feel like a part of the family. And shouldn't they - they've been helping to raise our children and prepare them for everything that comes next. The front office staff has always listened to any concerns we've had (our son has special learning needs) and we've been very grateful they've helped us work through a few things - making us feel like they're truly invested in his success and development. Always, but especially during COVID, they've gone to great lengths to clean and create a safe environment, where kids can still be kids, but parents can rest assured precautions are in place.

The majority of the teachers who work here are absolutely fantastic, to name a few there's Mikayla who was absolutely amazing she was my co-teacher in preschool 3 a classroom filled with the most wonderful and brilliant kids. Natalie and Lolo, Kara, Marissa, Liz and Kaitlyn. All incredible with kids. I never got to work with the infant teachers but from what I've seen they love and take care of their kids. The reason why I left was because of favoritism and the head bosses- Falesha and Michelle break a lot of regulations when it comes to how the kids are treated in the classrooms and classrooms being well over ratio. Which in most cases- if the classroom is over registered can lead to more accidents involving kids. I've been in classrooms by myself with 25-28 kids on multiple occasions for solid 20-30 minutes at a time. I've seen certain teachers toss toddlers on the floor after changing their diapers, scream at their kids because they were frustrated, while also using vulgar words directed at children the only reason being is the fact that they cry. I was treated disrespectfully by the director on more than one occasion as well. The things I've seen other teachers do to their kids and the disrespect given towards the kids is absolutely revolting and it's also been brought up to Falesha herself and she's neglected to do anything about it. This is me whistle blowing- there are cameras in every classroom all they have to do is go back and check them. If you decide to work here or send your kids here in the future hopefully you will be able to have a better experience. Like I said they have cameras in every classroom.

The school has a big emphasis on Catholic education and incorporates Catechisis of the Good Shepard into their learning. They have fun fundraising events for the school where parents can get to know each other. The school knows how to throw a party! Ms. Diana and her team have it together! When looking for a new daycare for our twin girls no place was good enough--then we walked into…read moreGoddard. The facility is gorgeous, fairly new and incredibly well maintained. The cirriculum is a real pre-school/pre-k learning plan. You get detailed information every day about what your kiddo did so you can talk to them about it and continue the lessons. There is a gym, with a climbing wall and they do dance and yoga. Kids get plenty of time to play--inside and outside. Goddard uses an IPAD system to send daily reports and we get updates (photo and video) during the day, which is fun. They also autodebit monthly payments, which is a huge help for busy families like ours. The teachers are amazing...I never worry about my kids, I know they are loved and well cared for. The kids tend to stay so there isn't alot of turnover, which helps my girls who have been through a lot of transition. There has been a lot of teacher turnover in the year we have been there, which is typical in corporate daycare. The director and several of the teachers have been there over the time we have been there. Our girls turned 4 in May and are writing, know their alphabet, count to 100 and are starting to read. If there are issues the staff will work with you. Its expensive but worth every penny. Could not say enough good things about this place.

Our experience at Goddard was fairly surprising given that it's a very expensive daycare with what…read moreappeared to be a decent curriculum. We were regularly asked to keep him home or pick him up early due to understaffing (we were offered a tuition reduction to do so -- but the was amount significantly less than what we paid per day). There was also a high pressure to accept the offer as declining seemed to raise questions about his safety and care on those days. He was also frequently sent home even when he had no fever or other symptoms - regularly surprising our pediatrician and other parents in my community. I think these constant disruptions meant he never really got the chance to settle into his environment and feel fully comfortable there. Since switching childcare providers, he's thrived in a way that made it clear how much those interruptions and low staffing had been holding him back. I think the teachers genuinely did their best with the resourcing they had - but at the end of the day, they can only do so much. As working parents, the constant unpredictability also made Goddard incredibly hard to manage logistically. If you have a flexible schedule, it might work fine for you. For us, the lack of stability was tough on us emotionally as two parents who want the best for their kid as well as two people who care about their careers who needed a reliable solution for childcare. Goddard did not fulfill the needs on either end of the spectrum. I am so grateful for our new situation that is welcoming to my my son, us as parents and has reintroduced a more stable environment for our careers so we can provide for our family.

The friendliest person I've come across is Derek. He was helpful, engaging & had a great attitude. Such a shame. They should prioritize membership retention & make sure their trainers/staff are more engaging with members other than their clients.
