Delicious food! I loved the Jollof rice and chicken. One of the better meals I've had at Disney!

    Harambe Salad with Chicken

Way Impressed Rain, and the threat of rain, were issues at Disney's Animal Kingdom yesterday. Harambe Market is an outdoor eatery, in that you order and pick up your food through windows and they only have outdoor, but mostly covered, seating. It looked full, but my wife is incredibly adept at finding tables. She did her thing while the rest of us got the food. She and I both got their Harambe Salad with Chicken, and both of us were way impressed. These were good sized salads with quite a bit of tasty chicken. As stated on their menu, the salads are Mediterranean influenced, so think olives, Feta cheese, Greek dressing, etc. Sure, we were eating with plastic forks on a damp table, using disposable bowls, but that was ok. I was hungry and this wonderfully corrected that condition. Two things to note, the salad is assembled, not tossed, so ingredients tended to be in one spot in the bowl rather than equally spread out. The other is Harambe Market closes at 3:15. In my humble opinion, that is way too early. I didn't ask why. Hope it is due to a temporary issue.

Kids meals (chicken nuggets / chicken and rice)

Ordered food through the Disney app, but note that there's still a wait as you need to first select that you've arrived during your arrival window, and only then will they begin prepping food. When your food is ready, you're given a notification and you show a cast member your notification before being going to your assigned pickup window. From there, you can grab an outside table to eat your meal. The kids meals were about $8 each. The chicken nuggets came in 3 with a small serving of fries, and we opted for a mandarin orange and water. The Dasani water bottle is a mini one. For the chicken and rice, I would recommend adding the hot sauce (available at the self-service counter) to add more zing. The cookie it came with was soft and you also get a choice of drink. If you have a lighter appetite, the kids meals will suffice.

If you are looking for a decent and affordable menu, this restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom is great. The menu is however limited but I find it very kid friendly. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The staff are very quick to sanitize the tables. I enjoyed the setting in this place and it didn't feel very crowded at all. My daughter had the kid's chicken bowl with fries while I had the ribs & chicken bowl. I didn't have high expectations and the food turned out to be very good. My daughter was happy with her rice and fries and we took our time with our lunch. It was a very hot day. I asked for a cup of ice to add onto my water bottle so we could continue on to the next ride.

This place is pretty neat! It felt like I had stepped into a different country, which was a lot of fun. There was sufficient seating that we didn't feel the need to save a seat. As soon as I was done ordering I found a spot. There are a lot of long tables so I ended up sitting next to a small family but there was enough room that it didn't feel like I was invading their space so much as eating near them. The one downside to this place is if you end up ordering a lot of food you have to make two trips. But also there isn't a lot of space to store the trays so it could back things up a bit. I ended up helping a woman so she wouldn't try and carry two trays by herself. The food itself was good but I always hate when I find chewy bits in my chicken. So while it was good, I'd rather stick with breast or parts that aren't going to have fat or other strange parts. I'd try something else here if there was something else that appealed to me. You're able to get free water here so hit this place up if you don't want to buy a water bottle (or want to refill your own). Ok: - Grilled Chicken Skewer

Ribs. Bland. The sides were really good.

We are fans of Disney so that means lots of trips to the parks. We can sometimes be creatures of habit and eat at the same places, but we decided to be daring and try some new food on this trip. Harambe Market was one of the new places for us to try. My daughter is mostly a vegetarian but will occasionally eat seafood. I eat nearly everything, so I'm pretty easy to please. She ordered a veggie curry with a side of black-eyed pea salad. I ordered ribs with papaya and black-eyes pea salad. I also got a beer from Tampa but can't remember the name. It was good. The verdict. 1 point Zoe, zero mom. Zoe's curry was so flavorful that I had food envy. The ribs were bland and I had food regret from the moment I saw them in the little paper container. On this trip I constantly second guessed my choices and I regretted most of my decisions. The sides were awesome! I could have eaten just the black-eyed pea salad and papaya salad and been happy. Next time I'm getting the veggie curry. It was so good with lovely coconut flavor and a little kick of spice.

Good quick service option in Animal Kingdom. My family and I were tired of French fries in the parks and were looking for better alternatives. We have been to HM multiple times in the past and knew the food was good. The atmosphere at HM is that of an outdoor African market with two order windows that serve the same food and drink. It is nice to relax at a table at HM and feel that you are away from the crowds. My wife ordered a chicken bowl. My daughter had the curry sausage. I opted for the rib bowl. My wife and daughter enjoyed their meals. I liked the ribs, they had a dry rub that was quite good. Not spicy and cooked just right. Rice came with the meats. HM also serves beer. Expect to spend $12-15 per dish. The food is good, but at the end of the day this is glorified park food with paper bowls and plastic utensils. Satu'li Canteen in Animal Kingdom is a close competitor and better overall experience. The line was a bit slow, but the food was ready not too long after ordering. Have someone in your party grab a table while you are standing in line.

Lots of seating but menu is limited during COVID. Visited in June 2021. Mobile ordered was fine had the chicken bowl was good and would get it again. I would say half of the people sitting there got food at Harambe Market while the other half got food from other food cart locations... since Harambe Market doesn't offer theme park burgers etc. but the healthier chicken bowl was a nice change.

We wanted a quick bite to eat before the lion king show. So, we stopped by Harambe market. There were 3 stalls to order from, but all of them had the same menu items. We ordered the beef and lamb gyro flatbread and the tikka masala chicken. The gyro was good. The bread very soft and fluffy, and the meat had a nice chargrilled flavor to it. I have had better gyros, though. The tikka chicken was underwhelming at best. It tasted more like just a tomato stew than a curry. I wouldn't recommend that you order this. The corn salsa side was just ok. It was slightly refreshing. But, the coleslaw was just awful. It had no flavor and was just off putting. I still liked the atmosphere, though. It felt like an open air market. A man at the front of the entrance was singing upbeat African music to keep the mood of the market fun and relaxed. So, come on by and get a gyro and enjoy some live music.

It's a trick! The Harambe market makes it look like there are multiple booths and stands, but it's really 2 food places, serving the same things (chicken curry, corn dogs, ribs). My husband and I got the curry and the corn dogs to share, and I would say that they were not terrible. What stood out though, was the watermelon lemonade. So refreshing! I wish there were more places to sit though, as it got super crowded and we pretty much had to fight for a seat. Would love to see the place expand, maybe some indoor seatings with ac for a hot summer day.

Tikka Masala Chicken - pretty good!

I don't shop often but when I do, I'm usually looking for something new and different. I've had the opportunity to talk to quite a few people that work here, and every one of them has been helpful in finding me something based on what my interests are at the time. I'm at a point in my life where I do enjoy some good bourbon and like trying different ones. I found a couple that I really fancy that they have good pricing on, but I'm always willing to try something else. I have probably bought from every section of the store at some point over the years and they do have quite a wide selection to choose from. The store is very well lit, and there are accessible spaces near the entrance, which is also accessible here. As well as all the alcohol and related products available they also have a really nice humidor here. I'm no longer allowed to have a cigar, but I can't appreciate that. They do have some good ones available. If you're looking for something to entertain or for pretty much any other reason, ABC is always a good place to shop. Just a reference, they have quite a few of the cool bottles that are released by various brands available. If wine is your preference, they have an excellent selection with really good prices.

They have a good collection of liquor, wine, and beer. Their cigar selection is not bad either…read more Every time I go in the staff is super friendly and helpful..

Who wants to party?…read more I said WHO WANTS TO PARTY!?!?!?! Well boys and girls if you raised your hand and are in Kissimee (pronounced "Kiss Me heyah" as you point to your ducklips), then this is your one-stop-show for liquor, wine and cervezas. Stopped in here after my drive to Cocoa Beach and figured, "Hey, what better way to pass the time than to imbibe in the nectar of the Gods?" Yes, Dionysus would be proud to know that us mere mortals can stop by a single location to find a wide array of beverages that would make him point both thumbs at himself and say, "Dude, what has two thumbs and is a Greek God? This guy. Who wants to parr-tay??" This little store is well stocked with whatever hard liquor you could imagine, a good selection of wine and a decent selection of beer. With the light beer (Miller, Budlight, etc) far outnumbering the good beer (New Castle, Guinness). But all in all, it's not bad and a quick 'n easy place to get whatever you need to get the party going. The prices are what you'd expect in a touristy area with a 500ml of Smirnoff running you about $13 while the same sized bottle of Absolute would run you close to $30. Not great, but what are you going to do if you want to fill your pimp cup with some tasty beverages that will make you bust out your Little John impression as you say, "WHAAAAAAT?! WHAAAAAAT?! YEEEEEEEEAH?!?" They also sell fruit juices and mixers, perfect for softening the blow of whatever poison you choose. Because I'm a good boy, I only picked up some cranberry-pomegranate juice. I'm such a little angel.....who likes to party! :-) **Polishes tarnished halo and tucks devil tail back into jeans**
