There is also a space for "crawlers" and there are enough toys for everyone. They offer a space for private parties, some light snacks and drinks for purchase, have ample and convenient parking space and a well thought of restroom! there is plenty of seating areas for the adults too so they dont have to be sitting on the sand to watch their kids if that is preferred. They do practice Montessori in the classrooms and encourage independence and practical life skills on top of academics. Also love the fact that food is provided, the staff are great, and they have an app where they send regular updates and pictures and communicate with parents. They recently moved to a new building so everything is nice and shiny. Other sites seem to have more reviews than Yelp, but I'd recommend doing more research on the school as an option, we couldn't be happier.

My granddaughter is just finishing up her first year at Palisades Preschool in the Toddler 2s…read moreprogram. She started in September with three full days a week and loved it so much her parents increased her to five days. This was her very first time away from home, and the teachers were incredibly kind and reassuring. We were worried in the beginning about how she would adjust, but they sent sweet photos of her being comforted and held, and thanks to their warmth and patience, she adjusted beautifully. Before long, she was eagerly looking forward to school each day! She adores all the special classes, but music with Miss Momo on Fridays is definitely her favorite. One of the highlights of the year was the holiday show they performed for the families. Seeing those little ones dressed as elves, singing, and shaking their instruments putting their whole hearts into it was absolutely precious. Our granddaughter has truly blossomed at Palisades Preschool. She's become quite the social butterfly and talks all the time about her friends at school. The teachers often send photos and videos during the day, and it's so clear from those big smiles that the kids are having the time of their lives while learning and growing. On days that I pick her up from school, I'm amazed at how joyful and excited all the children are at Palisades Preschool. It's been such a wonderful year, and while we're a little sad to see it end, we're thrilled she'll be joining the summer camp and moving on to the 3s class this fall.

My child experienced harsh teachers and policies such as half day kids forced to stand around and watch the full day kids eat lunch. Even when I said I would pay for the extra 15 minute overlap so my kid could eat lunch, they said no. I ended up picking him up early so he didn't have to be subjected to that. This school is not a professional environment because of their lack of communication with parents. They do not give honest assessments of children's abilities, and are too wrapped up in promoting Montessori instead of looking out for the best interest of the child. This environment is not conducive to the child who needs extra reinforcement. They are too focused on the Montessori philosophy to identify into the learning style, and abilities of individual students. After transferring my child to public school I was met with the reality that my child was not prepared academically. This came as a huge surprise because after confronting the teacher and principal about my childs readiness. I was assured that my child was prepared. What an absolute let down, and pathetic disappointment that this school did not live up to its academic integrity. And please do not waste your time on the "fast track" education that this school offers, as it is nothing more than a business ploy. The administration should seriously re-evaluate their responsibility to the community and our children. They have become more of a business instead of being a responsible institution.
