It was landscaped really nicely, and the greens and course were in near perfect condition. They even had courtesy flip-flops for those who were wearing heels (no heels allowed on course). It also had a darling little ice cream shop attached. In fact, the whole area/property was incredible. I don't know if it is considered part the hotel that's there, but it had a playground, giant checker boards, giant connect four game, mini basketball court, bag games, two pickle ball courts, a volley ball court and one of those giant Adirondack chairs. It's built kinda into a hillside, making for some beautiful and tricky holes. However, it's really unfortunate that it makes it ADA inaccessible. I struggled a lot with the stairs and steeper hills due to a knee injury I have, so that was a smaller bummer. I had been looking forward to taking my nephew to Slick City for a year or more. Timing finally…read moreworked out and we went on a Friday afternoon in summer. I was shocked when I pulled in the parking lot and there were only a handful of cars. When we went in, the place is pretty large, but felt a little empty. There were about 10 slides, a basketball court, and mini go karts. I thought I read online that the go karts were included with admission, but then there were signs saying you needed to buy a wristband. There was no worker in that area and nobody used them during our time there. The slides were fun until you reached the bottom. When the slide ended, you slid onto a rubber mat on most slides. My neck was starting to hurt after a few slides due to the jolt from hitting the rubber mat. I don't recommend for adults. I stopped after about 5 slides. My nephew who is 12 also complained that it hurt. It was really exhausting climbing up all the stairs to get up to the slides. Also, some of the slides and ceiling fans were dusty. Sad to say it was disappointing and I don't plan on coming back.
