This is a pretty good Hard Rock Cafe - it has an interior design that feels at home in Copenhagen and still has some of that Hard Rock feel. Service wasn't the best at this location but it was fine, not a serious complaint. As with most Hard Rock's the food was pretty much the same as you would find at other locations. I did like that this seems to be one of the last locations (that I've noticed) with the city written on at least some of the beer glasses which is nice and something I miss from others around the world. read more

Opening about 24 years ago on the NE side of City Hall square, this instance of the Hard Rock Cafe Copenhagen was my stop for dinner on the first night of my Copenhagen stay. I had tried to stop by for dinner in other places but everything was pretty full (even on a weeknight), so the relative emptiness of this place was what I was looking for...plus I've had good luck in the past with burgers from the various Hard Rocks visited. I got seated right away towards the back. There are a few rock'n'roll memorabilia but nothing to make you want to look too hard. My waiter came soon after. The menu is smaller, with the only thing on it that seemed customized was the 'The Little Mermaid Burger' (213 DKK), described as braised red cabbage, beetroot chips, orange segments, blue cheese, shoestring onions and brown sauce. It came with thick fries. Not much selection on tap, so got the 2nd most popular Danish beer (Turborg Classic for 79 DKK). Learned that I don't like cabbage or beets on my burger. The meat was good and the fries were excellent. It did fill me up which was the point. They do ask for tip on the payment, but the service wasn't good enough to justify the additional charge...total ended up being $45.64 for burger, fries, and a beer...yeah, it's expensive to dine out in Copenhagen. Before leaving, bought a women's classic t-shirt for my wife for $39.85. I did notice that they identify themselves to credit card companies as 'retail' instead of as a restaurant, even for the food portion of my stay. read more

Eh. We really only came in here to use the bathroom, and stayed for a beer, 'cos it's sorta bad form (I think) to hit the bathroom and not enjoy a beer at least. Standard HRC ambiance. We did not eat, and the beer was fine. Wouldn't seek this out, though. It is in a busy shopping area, and can be hard to find a public bathroom. read more

This place is a solid choice if you have food allergies. It takes a while to get your food so plan accordingly it that's necessary for them to take the time for the allergy precautions. Drinks were ok but can't taste any alcohol. Steaks cook was good but had no taste and a big fat cap on the New York strip that was over 1/3 of the steak. Season fries had no seasoning. Service was ok. Ambiance is standard for any hard rock nothing special. read more

Its a smaller Hard Rock but still had some delicious ribs and wine. This was our Anniversary dinner, which I chose because where we live, we don't have any option for decent ribs. The staff switched halfway through our dinner but the 2nd half of the staff were very attentive and kind. The girls even recommended some great wine. The food was excellent but the table was so tiny and shoved against a pillar which wasn't ideal. As I said, the location is smaller than most but I would go back for the ribs again. read more

Very customer focused and attentive. The floor super came by to make sure I was taken care of and I never wanted for anything. Who does that!? Hard Rock Copenhagen does! Just great. Good burger, even better onion rings. Cloudy, rainy and windy outside, so I went to the Hardrock Cafe, waited to get seated and got on of these fancy but uncomfortable high chairs. Where are all the normal chairs? Service was good, I was talked into another side dish, onion rings. Ordered Coke came straight away, but I had to wait for my cheese bacon BBQ burger some time. It arrived and I immediately regretted to order the additional onion rings, the onion rings towered up to a massive mountain. Burger was medium, but the BBQ Sauce with the sautéed onions it was too sweet for my tasting, with the fries came a chili mayo dip, which was quite spicy, much better than the two dips coming with the onion rings, BBQ sauce too sweet and some kind of ranch dressing. Tried it once, I would stick to the chili mayo dip for fries and onion rings. I cutted the burger in half and ate it with my hands, the appropriate way to eat the burger, it felt apart even cut into half. I waited a little bit for the bill, gave some tips, it was quite expensive, even though Copenhagen is one of the expensivest cities in Europe. read more

I have never before experienced such an enormous and disappointing drop in quality! My friend and I ordered a combo platter, buffalo wings, buffalo sliders, fajitas, a coke (only Pepsi available) and milkshakes. I asked to have 3 sliders but of different flavors, but this was unfortunately not possible as they only offer 3 sliders of one and the same flavor. Our waitress asked us if we wanted the starters first or everything at once to which we replied "starters first" The combo platter arrived with beyond dry bruschetta with crust-like parmesan. The onion rings were so soaked in oil that the onion inside could barely be bitten/cut through. The rest of the starter items were fine, but everything was placed on wilted and almost brown lettuce leaves. When out waitress then cleared our table, she was gone no more than 30 seconds before returning with our next dishes. This could only mean that they were prepared at the same time as the starters and then just sat there. As a result of that the brioche buns og my sliders were completely dry and hard and the cheese I has asked for was nowhere to be found. The tortillas for the fajitas were all stuck together, the chicken looked darker than it should and very dry, the vegetables were oily and the quacamole scoop had already turned a greyish brown. The buffalo wings were also slightly dry, but the flavor was good. The pepsi was beyond flat. I told our waitress about the sliders and the tortillas which were all replaced. The tortillas with a new batch that all stuck together as well (I believe the tortillas are heated in a paper bag by sandwich press) and sliders with cheese and not dry brioche buns. Everything else we just ate as much of as we could stomach. The manager (I presume) returned with the new sliders and did what was probably his best to butter us up, but with little improvement in quality and over all impression, it all fell rather hard and fast to the floor. I have rarely been so disappointed in my life!! The only reason for the one star is the fact that you cannot give none. And hey....they actually make buffalo wings correctly. ‍ read more

This was such a cool idea when it launched but the food was never all that great. It's always fun to come in and see the memorabilia but they've honestly stretched it pretty thin now and since they refuse to improve the quality of the food, they probably sell more swag than burgers these days. I wanted to buy a fridge magnet but it was $15 so I passed. I just remember how excited I was as a kid to go to these and there was a point when I had T-shirts from most of them in the US but I'm pretty done now. We got the premium menu, it includes a starter (salad), main dish, a dessert and one drink (no alcoholic beverage, you have to pay extra (we order a beer, which is actually quite pricy) and we were given a table with only 5 min waiting time. We choose the spareribs as our main dish. We got more than enough food and couldn't actually finish it. The ribs had a nice marinade. As a dessert we had a chocolate lava cake, it was very nice and had a delicious chocolate taste, however it could have been a little bit warmer. All in all a good deal! read more

Had a disapointing return to HardRock after not having eaten there for a couple of years. HardRock used to be one of very few places you could go in copenhagen, for a lot of taste and some atmosphere. Well the atmosphere is gone after they moved, but that's not really why I'm writing a review. - All the food is now bland. .. somehow. Very disapointing. Wings are less spicy, potatoskins are soggy and less cheese/bacon'y, mac and cheese tastes like mac and flowermilk, and eveything else just in general has less flavour then it used too. It's as if they decided to stop using salt and spices, but worst of all is that eveything now tastes and feels premade and reheated. Stil giving it a 3/5 simply because food in copenhagen is generally terrible, and as hard as they've tried, HardRock hasn't quite managed to end up in the bottom half of that comparrison. read more

On June 14. 1971, Hard Rock Cafe opened their first cafe in the UK, so they celebrate their birthday by selling the legendary Burger for 7,1 kroner, between 11 and 12. :) Good stuff! Today, in our third trip to Copenhagen's new Hard Rock after spending a total of at least a thousand dollars, while having drinks our young daughters went next door and came back with Starbucks.
