This is a Hard Rock Cafe like any other that you would visit in any large city. There are no surprises other than the selection of rock fashion which includes a fun Stevie wonder costume. It's a decent spot to hang out - big and spacious, usually there will be no issue finding a place to sit unless there's a huge event. It's poppin' at times especially weekends and more quiet during the weekdays. Compared to other bars in the area - the cocktails are quite expensive. I usually order the usual Brazilian drink Caipirinha, for the price - I've had way better for less, for a fraction of the price. I tried the Yellow Submarine but wasn't a huge fan, but you do get a nice souvenir out of it ;) Food is pretty decent and represents American food well, the staff are extremely nice. read more

I have been to several HRC during my trips. The Curitiba one was no different than others but the very first one I visited at my home country -- Brazil. Having moved back from the US after living there 11 years it was time to try out the HRC food and see it carried the American taste or not! Friends in town, perfect occasion to come here. We ordered ribs, brisket and burgers. Nothing more American than that! Despite the obvious local taste, they really got pretty close to the real thing. The beans were definitely not tasting like real BBQ beans. They were "carioca beans". The ambiance is fantastic, the decor as well and the service was excellent. Will come back for more food, perhaps during the evening with friends to enjoy the daily concerts they have. They really did a great job at this specific HRC and hopefully is here to stay for a very long time! read more

Such a loud place. You can't have a conversation without having to shout due to the loud music. The service was bad. Rude waiters. The food was disappointing. Not worth the price at all, in terms of taste. The dishes are well served though. read more
