The hotel is in a rather unassuming block in Atocha and doesn't quite fit the aesthetics of the neighborhood, but inside you'll find a vibrant lobby and busy restaurant.
We stayed here for roughly a week early in the year and while at first the location took me a bit to get used, I quickly enjoyed the location (about a 5-10 min walk from the metro station and about a 15 min walk to the rail station). There are some nice local restaurants all within 1-2 block radius of the hotel.
The hotel itself was clean, modern and very nice. The room was a good sized room with all the amenities and very nicely decorated with rock music theme. It made for getting ready in the morning a little faster.
The service was excellent overall and when we had an issue with the sink not draining, they quickly sent two repairmen to the room to resolve the issue. Also I appreciated the smaller touches like having our luggage sent to the new room when we went to Barcelona for a few days and returned back to hotel.
Overall, it was wonderful stay and I encourage everyone to really enjoy the neighborhood type feel of the surrounding area. Yes, it's not a "convenient" per se if you stayed in Sol or Gran Via, but there are amenities to the area not found in those more touristy areas as well... read more
