I'm sure if you are looking for gems this is the place the find it. The attendant was willing to help guide me to find what I was looking for. Again this store was organized by alphabet and popular artist in each letter! This is good if you are looking for let's say Smashing Pumpkins and don't want to sort through all the S's to find them. My only reservation on this fine establishment is that the prices were much higher than any other record store I've visited on this trip. For used records many were priced as if the records were new. This unfortunately resulted in my leaving empty handed, something that I rarely do, as I like to support smaller independent shops. This would be a great place to find your favorite artist's album that other stores around do not have. Recommend checking it out.

I've been in this store many times, and I've also spent quite a lot of money. It has a good…read moreselection of black music (jazz, soul, funky, etc...). Although there are very ruined records sometimes sold at exorbitant prices. But I don't leave 1 star for the prices, but for how today the shop owner treated me and my girlfriend. We were there this afternoon and we heard about twenty records without finding anything we liked. The store has some turntables dedicated to listening. When leaving the store the owner did not greet us, but before going through the exit he told us in a totally unfriendly manner and, I must also say quite threatening, that besides listening it would have been nice if we had bought something. Obviously both of us were shocked by this absurd attitude. I want to reassure the store owner that there will not be another time, we will never set foot over there again, and I will advise anyone to do the same. I'm saddened to think that in an era when buying online records at affordable prices is an immediate deal there are physical stores that have not yet caught the importance of offering something more and a pleasent customer's shopping experience is the key to success of every physical store, especially talking about music or arts in general. Great bookstore for those who want to read in English. The place was recently renovated, so it's…read moregot a great feel to it, with lots of light (perfect to read even the smallest fonts while browsing the shelves). The store's pretty big considering it caters to the English-speaking population, with two floors, and plenty of variety in terms of books. The staff is extremely helpful and will help you find any book you want and even recommend you new ones (to that effect they also have a blog which they regularly update with events, such as book signings, and the latest book recommendations they have: http://waterstonesbru.blogspot.com/). They also have a great rewards card system, which I recommend to anyone who's planning on being a regular customer there. In addition, they have a fun selection of additional tchotchkes towards the entrance/exit, such as notebooks, pens, boardgames, etc, which reminds me of the Barnes and Noble bookstores you find in the US. So if you want to read books in English, don't hesitate to check the place out!
