I was so impressed with how well my recovery went, and his recognition of systemic problems that contributed to my knee injury, I decided to continue working with him on other, long standing pain in my back, shoulders and upper arms. Brian identified problems with my posture that were exacerbating my conditions, and were preventing me from making progress (no matter how much I stretched or exercised) in the resolution of my chronic pain. A combination of retraining me in terms of my posture and how I walk, expert PT treatments to address specific and systematic problems and providing useful/realistic 'at home' exercise programs have made a huge difference for me! I'm on a positive path now and getting better every day! More mobility, less pain, and hope that I can get back to a place where life is more active and less painful. It was beautifully constructed and everybody that worked there was really friendly. The woman's bathroom had a sauna and steam room. There was a hot tub, a swimming pool, a weight room with all types of equipment and machines for working out, and free classes, such as Zumba, spinning, water aerobics, etc. The downstairs cafeteria had good food too. The Kalispel tribe also has buffalo nearby and a Powwow center. I am very happy for the Kalispel Tribe. I think it is a huge accomplishment and it means a lot to the community.

But after my exam he told me he felt I needed to go to the hospital. That he thought it was something more severe. Turns out I was a Type 1 diabetic. Diagnosed by my optometrist. I just recently went back in 2015 and saw Dr Gimness again. This time I do need glasses. And the time he took and the in depth explanations I was given telling me how things work and what happens with my particular disease and my eyes was great. I had an infected tooth in need of a root canal. In all my visits I never saw the same dentist…read moretwice. Had the temporary crown put in and I knew something was still not right. It was still a little sensitive and swollen, so I decided not to put the permanent crown in till it was resolved. I went in twice for more xrays and antibiotics which they charged me for and 5 months later it's still not right. Obviously they didn't fix my tooth. I called them and they weren't willing to see me without charging me again. I wonder how many times they would have let me come in and continue to pay before telling me to go somewhere else? After a near fatal brain tumor in my 30's my income is $800/mo with no dental insurance. Since when is it okay for a dentist to say "bye-bye" to a patient who can feel the nerves in her face going from her tooth up to her eye? I don't have another $1000 to pay all over again to another dentist. Disgusting. What kind of people are they that don't guarantee their work pertaining to someone's health with something that can put their life at risk?

From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very professional. They made the entire process easy and comfortable, and I never felt rushed. Dr. Jonathan was wonderful--thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and takes pride in what he does. The optical technician was also incredibly helpful. I don't remember her name, but she explained what to look for in a properly fitting pair of glasses better than anyone ever has--and I've been wearing glasses for a very long time. That really stood out to me. I've also had multiple follow-up calls, and the staff has always been understanding and helpful. Overall, a great place to get eye care, and I would absolutely recommend them!
