If you have autism or anxiety please stay as far away as physically possible from Mr. Singh. Absolute worst dental experience I've ever had. I drove 2.5 hours for what I was explicitly told over the phone was a consultation only for a difficult extraction case. Instead, he walked in and handed me extraction paperwork without even gretting me let alone discussing the issue. He barely spoke to me at all. I repeatedly tried to ask basic questions about the safety of the procedure, whether sutures would be used, and what risks existed given my previous traumatic extraction experience where I experienced severe bleeding and required emergency treatment afterward. He refused to explain the procedure. Refused to give a difinitive answer on if he intended to use sutures. Refused to explain the risks. Refused to give any reassurance whatsoever. The only thing he repeatedly said was: "Do you want it out or not?" I explained that I have autism and needed help understanding what was happening before consenting to a procedure. I explained I was looking to reassure safety and Instead of showing even basic patience or professionalism, he became visibly irritated that I was asking questions and wanted time to think about it. He explicitly stated no one else would pull the tooth due to my insurance. He then told me due to my "anxiety" id have to find an oral surgeon. When I pointed out he just stated no one else would do the surgery, he shrugged and walked away. It was very much a "take it out today or never" situation- an "accept my work, or get out" type of guy. So glad he didn't put his hands anywhere near me. (You heard that right, he didn't even look in my mouth at all before determining he was capable). He refused to let me take a few days to decide and said I cannot get it now. The assistants were kind to me, and the receptionist did admit the appointment had been scheduled as a consultation only like I said. None of my frustration is directed at them. Honestly, what disturbed me most was how afraid everyone seemed to speak up around the dentist. When his behavior was excused with "it's been a hard day," I said that is not an excuse to take it out on an autistic patient asking reasonable safety questions before consenting to an invasive procedure. No patient should be treated like a burden for wanting informed consent and basic compassion. I have avoided dentists for nearly 15 years because of a prior traumatic experience, and this was one of the worst medical interactions I have ever had. No patient should be pressured into an invasive procedure without answers, without informed consent, and without basic human compassion. If you are autistic, anxious, medically traumatized, or simply want a dentist willing to answer questions before pulling your teeth, stay far away from this office. Went in for an exam I was told I needed my wisdom teeth out two years ago. When I was at their location they wanted me to do bone graft and prf. I understood why, he had talked down another company when I gasped at the price. He said "or you can go to ( *insert name ), they will charge you more" It didn't bother me then because I was still going to do it. My appointments were rescheduled three times never heard back from them. I was annoyed, so I'd don't bother calling back. Two years later and one of my molars is bothering me. I went to the company he talked down about. Very nice and very clean facility. The receptionist was so friendly and answered all my questions prior to the visit. Dr Singh was friendly and matter of fact. He pulled a painful molar for me 3 days after contacting his office, when my other options were 6-8 weeks out. Zero pain after two Novocain shots as he pulled the back top tooth that was cracked through. Fast and painless. I like Dr. Singh! I have this deep embedded fear of dentists, so when I got a horrible infection which ended me up in ER, I was told that two teeth would need to be extracted. That was enough to send me running! I ventured to the dentist the following Monday where she referred me to Dr. Singh. I reluctantly called his office and was met with kindness and patience when making my appointment. I told the medical assistant about my ER experience and how the ER Doctor had to cut along my jaw line to get the mass infection drained. She understood the urgency and was able to book my appointment for two days away. I asked if I could be knocked out! But Dr. Singh doesn't do that so my nerves began to rattle from within! I considered canceling my appointment but I forced myself to be a big girl and go! I arrived feeling like I was meeting my maker! Nerves were shattered! I shared that with Dr. Singh and he and his assistant comforted me. He shot me full of Novocain and waited for it to take hold. Then the time was here....the actual removing of two teeth. I calmed myself the best I could and the procedure began. Dr. Singh was gentle, kind, and fast! The first tooth came out immediately since it was the infected one. The next one took a few minutes, however Dr. Singh and his great assistant were gentle. No more than 10 minutes later I was done! I was relieved! I picked up my prescriptions prescribed by Dr. Singh, and ventured home to wait for the pain to start! But honestly, I had no pain! A mild discomfort but certainly nothing I can't handle! I had a tooth pulled a while back and he didn't put on the numbing medicine before he gave the shot which was very painful. I am a pretty tough person and his website claims that it is painless removal. I have had numerous doctors say that I have a high pain tolerance because I have had to have two emergency surgeries which should have caused severe pain and I didn't seek care because the pain was not as bad to me. Dr. Singh is either insensitive or doesn't care, or is unskilled in giving shots. I have had several dental procedrues over the years and have never had an issue with pain because the dentist uses the numbing meds, something Singh didn't do. I assumed he would use pain numbing meds, it's been well over 30+ years since I have not had a dentist apply the numbing meds. This is not the case with Singh, maybe he is trying to save money? Furthermore, he had to give me two shots, so the pain was doubled because the first one didn't take, not sure it that is because he lacks the skill? I assume he knows the shots are painful but lacks the compassion to numb the area first? Furthermore, I had to drive a long way to receive his services, and his office staff didn't share with me anything about the procedures, that it was not an actual appointment but just something where he was looking at the issue and the actual appointment would have to be booked farther out by several weeks. The office staff failed to tell me that I would have to wait until my insurance approved of the procedure which could take several weeks. When I originally called, I explained that I was driving 5 hours, that it was an emergency appointment, in fact my referring dentist relayed that information as well. However, when I got there it, I was informed that I would have to wait several weeks out. When I originally spoke with his office I specifically asked if there was anything I needed to know about the appointment prior to coming because I was driving a very long way. The office girls were not knowledge or unaware of the complex procedures involved in this process and didn't communicate that to me. Furthermore, I had to pick up some paperwork and forms to see a different dentist and they were not ready when I arrived. I had to wait until he got out of surgery. This was frustrating because I had just gotten off the phone and provided all the information, they needed to prepare the paperwork, and they asked if I was coming in. I told them I would be there shortly. They asked me to wait 1 hour, but still didn't have the information I needed to proceed. Overall, it was painful, they are too cheap to apply numbing medicine to make their patient more comfortable, the last time this happened to me was well over 30 years ago! They are either too cheap, out of date with patient's comfort or just don't care. The office staff is unknowledgeable or unskilled in performing their jobs, insurance billing procedures, or dental procedures in general. read more

Switched insurance carriers and finally got my teeth looked at after putting it off for years. Was met by friendly and professional receptionist. Followed by some X-Rays and a quick check in with Dr. Singh himself. He was enthusiastic and professional while at the same time seemingly a great sense of humor. His assistants were also friendly. After the initial inspection, I went in just a few days ago to get my last few teeth pulled and was again greeted by a friendly receptionist. I was taken back to a dental room and hung out with a few students in training who I chatted with while we waited for Dr. Singh to come in and start the extraction. I was real nervous as I had been fully knocked out with anesthesia last time I've had teeth pulled, and this time would be awake. The students and assistant kept me entertained and calm while I waited and reassured me it wouldn't hurt at all. Dr. Singh came in after a few minutes and gave me a series of what I think was novacaine shots around the teeth being pulled. 5 min later returned and started the process. Not only was it an extremely quick process, but I didn't feel any pain what so ever. And even asked "Wait, that was it are you done yet?" The students chucked and Dr. Singh smiled and said "Yep you're all done!" The whole experience was great, and I definitely won't be so anxious or bummed out about if I have to go back considering I don't have a single bad thing to say about this practice. I had my wisdom teeth taken out here, the entire staff was very kind and professional even when my anxiety got the best of me. They gave me a break when I needed it during the process and the procedure was finished in under an hour a lot faster than I expected and painless! I just came in for my checkup and am healing very well, the doctor even gave me a syringe for water to help clean my sockets. Harjinder Singh D.D.S. is the worst dentist I have ever met. First off the room I was getting my tooth extraction in was filthy. The seat has stains and grime in all the stitching and seams. Secondly he tries to keep my tooth and grossly misinterpreted OSHA regulations to me stating that he could not return my tooth. That's basically lying to steal my tooth that was extracted. In my whole life I have never met a dentist that refused to return my tooth and he said there was a new regulation since the last time I visited a dentist and adamant about keeping my tooth.(ANOTHER LIE) This guy is a bully and his wife is equally belligerent and awful. She told me I had to sue them to get my tooth back. I actually had to get the police involved and his wife even threatened to charge me instead of my medical, I am now filing a complaint with medical civil rights division and suggest anybody who get their tooth/teeth removed by this place to be adamant about getting their tooth/teeth back.
