They pretended that I have been driving behind a truck or in the country side when realistically I was on holiday overseas... Looks like they used my short on time situation and none experience to add more work on the car. Not happy especially when they ask me to pay cash to avoid 15$ gst... They lost a client and got a bad review.

Bunch of low life unprofessional rude maggots that work here. They only want your money and afterwards you don't matter to them, regardless what happens. No responsibility and no people skills whatsoever. I'd sue this place for what they did to me. Believe you me, spend your time and money elsewhere if you're after a proper professional job needing done to your car.

The guys at Roof Carrier Systems in Camberwell really know their stuff…read more Having recently got a new car, we took our old bike racks, which these guys had previously fitted on our old car, to get new rails and the racks reattached to the new car. Service is friendly & really knowledgeable. It took less than 20 minutes for my car to be racked and ready! Awesome! The products they sell, particularly Thule, aren't cheap, but they are quality! They also do chains for the snow, other types of roof racks for snow boards and the like, plus the big luggage boxes for the roof if you are heading camping and need some extra room for your gear. They also hire them out as well as sell them! All in all I highly recommend these guys for any carrier system needs for your car! We'll be back when we next upgrade!

I was helped by a nice young gent who took the time to walk me through my entire gear set up; from Kevlar jeans, jacket, gloves and boots. He never rushed through explaining it all to me, listened to what I wanted and checked back with me after I tried things on to help me out with sizes and anything else I needed. In addition to this, no fewer than two other staff members checked to see if I needed help while I walked around the store! I'll never go anywhere else for gear and accessories and advice. DIY Auto Parts is a car junkyard in Broadmeadows…read more Admission Fee is $2 (as with Pick-A-Part). You bring your own tools to take parts off cars. Parts prices here are similar to Pick-A-Part (depending on what you're getting). Others are slightly cheaper or more expensive. The car selection is good here for imported cars, and Aussie Fords as well. They also group them into sections in a more organised fashion than Pick-A-Part. They're organised into: Holden, Toyota, Ford, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Honda and Hyundai/Kia/Ssangyong. Then, at the back corner, there is just: European and 4WDs as well. They also have a 'desirable' section just to the left of the entrance, for cars that they think are likely to be popular. Staff are mostly good in my experience but again YMMV. Their website sucks though, they do not have a stock database anymore, so you need to keep track on their Facebook page, which can get difficult. Parking is pretty good, Public Transport access is okay, compared to both Pick-A-Parts. The 901 SmartBus runs right outside. If only Campbellfield Station on the Upfield Line would reopen, that would make it perfect. I would happily come back here if I knew the part I needed was likely to be there.
