I bought this deal on Groupon for 2 golfers, 2 lbs of wings or 2 hotdogs, golf cart for I believe $75, with the additional Groupon promo code, came closer to $60. It's a great deal and it was fun to spend on a non-raining Sunday, we started at 3pm. I got my first lucky birdie here! Wings and the hot dog were great, no complaints. I'm a beginner and there are three tee boxes, if you're playing with someone who uses the furthest tee box, it's quite a distance away and sometimes harder to find so would recommend to use a golf cart to navigate. There are opportunities to lose a ball here and there and the course could benefit with a course marshall to move things along as we were a bit backed up with a noobie groups ahead of us who played quite slow. The course has a lot of flies this time of the year (mid September) so close your mouth and your eyes if you're not driving and watch where you sit in case you squash any flies. We called in the beginning of the 9th hole to order our food to eat it right after the hole near the clubhouse but still had to wait a while to get our food, so would call a hole before to ensure no wait time when it's busy. There's also a driving range and putting area to practice before hand. Though mats are quite beaten up and no where to really Tee up for where I was practicing. read more

I bought a deal on Wagjag - $59 for a round of golf for two people including Cart and a pound of wings. The only thing that made this deal worth my money was the wings. 17 out of 18 holes were par 3s, with the second last hole a par 4 - Nobody needed to use their drivers. I don't think carts are necessary for this course. It was really empty, which was kind of nice since nobody felt rushed by people behind us. The grass on the green was uncut and patchy/poorly maintained. The washrooms were really dirty and infested with flies.. I had to wait till we left to use the washroom at a McDonalds. We were also the only patrons at the 'restaurant' and were given two pounds of wings! I guess the waitress made a mistake, but the wings were really dry anyways. Overall, I would not come back here again even if there was a deal. read more

Harmony doesn't sell itself for anything other than an executive course [short].I give them 4 stars for delivering just this,and really good wings. Having had the chance to play PGA courses,it's understood Harmony is like the driving range,course wise,so practice.If people are scratch golfers,then don't come to Harmony,wrong course.It's predominantly a par 3 from the reds,and whites.Read the score card,play off the blues ,and you get an average of almost 200 yards,with 7 par 4's.Course has been affected by the rainy weather.Maybe more so given it's location,and a creek runs through it,floods.About 3- 4 holes were noticeably flood damaged when I played,glad I wore the water proof cleats! Family owned,and run business,need courses like Harmony so more can try the game of golf for a reasonable rate. Bumped into a father,playing with his son who was no more than 10 years old.They walked the course,both periodically play here,and enjoy themselves.Nice to see the kid in an activity that didn't only involve screen time. read more

Bought a Travelzoo deal for $59 for 18 holes for two, cart and 2 pounds of wings. I have never golfed here even though I live in the area. This is a smaller course, but if you play the blues I think you get 5 or 6 par 4's. It can be fairly challenging at times, but it's fun. I found the facilities to be well kept. I was in a rush and I needed the wings to go, which was specifically restricted on the voucher. However the staff let me take them - great service! They also told me they were extending the deadline for the vouchers since many people still had to use them. They don't have to do this, but again it shows some good service. To the guy who complained about how short it is, a visit to the web site would have told you what kind of course it is. Not sure what facilities he used but I found everything to be very clean and in good repair. read more

Like most people who have written a review, and I believe most people who visit this course, my friend and I got a coupon for $59, which includes a round of golf for two, a power cart, and two pounds of chicken wings at the clubhouse. An interesting business strategy, it seems the large majority of their customers stem from these coupons. We were here about two years ago, and the improvement since then has been outstanding. In 2012, our experience on the course was marred by tons of dead grass and garbage around the course, which caused some apprehension for coming back. Fortunately, however, this is no longer the case. The holes were mostly well groomed and clean too. I didn't see one patch of dead grass.Overall, the course played very well on every hole, some of which were actually quite beautiful. There were two negatives about the course. The first has to do with the signage. Getting from one hole to another can be extremely confusing, due to the lack of signage and direction. Going by the map on the score card can sometimes help, but on a hole like #3, where there are two sets of blue, white, and red tees, things can get extremely confusing. The other negative was that on some holes there was a marginal or no difference between the rough and the fairway. A bit more grooming would take care of this. The meal at the clubhouse was great afterwards, and the wings were outstanding. Overall, knowing that their regular green fee/power cart rental can run in the range of $60-70, I would only come back with the coupon. However, with the coupon, it's great value for great golf/food! read more

Purchased Wagjag Deal for golf with 2 pounds wings per person, went to order the wings and they fought with us that we were only entitled to 1 pound per person . They discussed with other staff at length and advised that we needed to raise with Wagjag as they had issued our voucher incorrectly and they refused to provide the wings as indicated on the voucher. Don't ever recall having such a terrible customer experience, won't ever go back! It's no wonder the place hardly had any customers with this lack of concern for service and refusal to honour the deal we purchased!!!! read more

I came here with my husband the other week and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I have come here a few times before but that was awhile ago. The course is in great shape this year! The greens not only look good but also play fast. The owner is a wonderful character which we had the opportunity to talk to while waiting for service in the Pro Shop. Very friendly staff. I did find the mats at the range in need of repair and some areas on the course a little confusing to navigate. Nothing that a few more signs wouldn't fix (or looking at the map on our score card!) Power carts are older but for the deal we purchased, can't really complained. The deal we bought on-line through Groupon was 2 players at 18 holes each, a power cart and a 1lb of wings each all for $60! I found the bar/lounge area a little dated and beer selection lacking, but the wings were great. **I would recommend booking a week in advance for the golf if needing a power cart, especially on the weekends. They have a limited number of carts and I found they book quickly. Overall great time, great food and I would come back again. read more

I played here yesterday morning with my buddies using a coupon booklet. We had two free green fees and a 2 for 1 green fee. There were supposed to be four players, but five ended up showing up. We asked if there was another tee time we could book and luckily there was since it was 7am. We played as a pair and a threesome. Before teeing off, we noticed that we were undercharged, so we went back to the pro shop to confirm and to pay whatever we still owed. We are all beginners playing for either the first or second summer. This is why we make it a point to go as early as possible so as not to get in anyone's way. We played the front 9 without any trouble and ended up letting a couple on a power cart play through at that point since they had caught up to us. About two thirds of the way through, we noticed the course starting to fill up, so we did our best to play at a decent pace. By the 18th hole, the course was pretty full. My partner and I had to wait a few minutes before starting the 18th because another group was teeing off on the 9th (the 9th and 18th holes are right beside each other). They played off the white tees so it was almost directly in front of us. Eventually we tee off and told our friends in the next group to go ahead and tee off once we reach our balls. My partner and I finished the hole and waited at the green for the others to get on. At that point we noticed a marshall driving around and watching us. He stayed in his cart on the 18th until our second group was done. Once we all finished he then told us that we shouldn't be playing as a group of five because four is the maximum. We explained to him that we split up into two groups so there wouldn't be an issue. He then said "well you guys move along then" (although we were already finished and were about to leave). As we were walking away, he continued to bark at us about how we had already gotten a good deal to play so we shouldn't be acting that way. I find that to be very rude considering we played the whole course without anyone saying anything. So I have a couple of questions: - Why did the marshall wait until we finished the whole course before even saying anything to us? - Shouldn't the marshall have asked us if were playing as a fivesome instead of automatically assuming it? - If we were really holding people up, should we not have received a reminder or warning to speed up play before then? - Are there different rules and treatment for customers who pay regular price and those who paid a discounted rate? As I mentioned earlier, my friends and I are all new to golf. We took advantage of a discount because we want to try out different courses to see which ones we would enjoy. The round itself was okay. I did find the course rather confusing since some holes are close together and there could be better signage to direct first timers. We have also tried other courses that are comparable in price but are better maintained. I would probably give the course two to three stars, but that experience at the end of my round really left a bad taste in my mouth. I should add that I rarely write reviews (as a matter of fact, this will be my first), but this affected me enough to share my experience. Needless to say, I will no longer be a customer at Harmony Creek in the future. read more
