I was looking for someone to help my 80y/o mother in law fix some planters that had not been sealed properly when built and the stucco was cracking and coming off. He called me back within an hour and set up time to come out that evening to look and give us a quote. He showed up and was very professional and straightforward with what he needed to do. I live in Texas and also knew what needed to happen so I trusted him right away. He got the quote to me when he said and we agreed on the price and scope. I left for home and we scheduled the work for 2-months out. We communicated just before the date scheduled and he showed up right on time. He did a great job (I was still in Texas) and he took my mother in law shopping for new plants (she loves that)! He sent me pic when he finished AND he took her shopping again for more plants! I found Francisco here on Yelp. After reading the reviews, I knew I had to call him. We had a built in water feature that came with the house when we purchased a couple years ago. We always needed to hire someone to pressure wash it, but it didn't completely remove the calcium from the hard water. Couldn't keep pressure washing it as the rock would start to crumble & break. Then we started getting chlorine deposits on the rocks that crystallized it. Then trying to get someone to come out & show up was another story. Finally we decided to demolish it, also helps to save water, which saves us money as well. My only phone call was to Haro Landscape. When I called Chris answered the phone in such a professional & friendly way. I asked if they were able to tear out( demolish) a water fountain and they said yes! I sent pictures to Francisco & he called me that same day with a quote! He was very clear of what needed to be done, with capping off the water, tearing it down, filling it in with top soil, adding plants & irrigation. He said he was very busy(which is a good sign). He was able to take on my job within a few days of talking to him. He added me on a Sat. His crew of 5 knocked it out in 6hrs. Francisco is a very nice man, he knows his craft & he takes pride in his work. His crew are his employees. They are all polite & courteous. We bought our home and our backyard was boring desert. Since it was an open canvas, I was super excited to work with Francisco. I asked for a quote and he responded to me quickly. He was a able same day to take a look at my yard. He was super professional and was straight forward what would work for my family and I. He listened to what we wanted and what we didn't like. The turn around time was a little over a week and a half, which is pretty quick. We decided with turf and the pavers he picked I totally loved!! He even asked my mom to pick the plants she wanted and he can plant it for us. He even installed the sprinkler system and set the time for it. On Wednesday, September, 7th, 22, I contacted this business in regards to my irrigation lines being busted in my front yard and that I dug the hole to locate the line that was busted and unfortunately the line is underneath my driveway in a pipe that was gushing water out. As I explained this the gentleman on the line who I won't name out of respect stated no problem, send me your address, number, name, and my boss will contact you to set schedule a time. I told the gentleman no problem, so during the day I went out and did my usual errands and waited 4 plus hours and no call, no text, and no voicemail as I checked this as maybe my cell blocked a number. I did not receive anything and I did not want to wait around all day as I did not know when I would receive a call back. I found another business that gave me a time they would be available and even sent a courtesy text to let me know I did not have to be home for them to look at my line. I attempted to contact Haro Landscape back, but no answer, so assuming they would not just show up at my home without telling me. Well needless to say the other business came out on time and fixed my problem, so my plants and trees can have water during the heatwave. Around 1pm I received a call from Haro Landscape claiming they were at my house and I was beyond confused as I did not receive a text, a call from the boss as the guy claimed, nor a scheduled time frame, but they just showed up. I told the gentleman that the line was repaired and that he or whoever does scheduling never called to confirm anything with me, no call, no text, no time frame of anything, so I did not understand why him and his guys were at my home. So I then just asked if he could just give me a quote for a yard cleaning front and back and he stated sure no problem. Never received the text or call back from that as well for the quote. Not going to be disrespectful here, but if you claim I will get a call from your boss to schedule a walk through of my property or basically to look at the line that is broken and no call to me was made, and like I stated before no call to schedule anything and no text with a possible time frame that works, but just at your own free time to drop by my home isn't professional. We're all human and make errors, but you don't just drop by a home without a call to see if anyone is home or if a time works, I did not receive anything. Which is why I had to go with another business. Now mind you if I had received a call back or text with a time frame of course I would've gladly waited as I saw the many positive reviews, but I did not receive anything period. read more

I had several items that I wanted to have done in my backyard. Remove a large plant, replant a few items and make sure the drip system was working. Why is as good landscaper so hard to find?? I've hired a few popular companies through Yelp and either their prices don't match their output, or I had to call them out again because they rushed/did a poor job. I really enjoy working with Francisco and his team. My husband had the pleasure of meeting them one morning and when coming back inside told me he "can tell the men are hard workers and Francisco takes care of business." He never had a comment about the others. I had so many weeds creep up faster than I expected this month (new residence), and didn't schedule ahead. Haro Landscaping is pretty busy for good reason, so when I texted Francisco and he told me he'd get back to me on availability, but then a few days passed, I went out there to clip the biggest weeds myself until I heard from him. First, I would like to pre-empt by saying this is a longer read than most reviews. We had a very large leak in the dripline of our irrigation system which caused pools of mud and rock along the entire length of the side of our house. I was unsure what caused this, especially now there is a hole in the ground where water was coming up --- it resembled something like a gopher or other wildlife would make. I started researching and calling around different companies from different websites (SNWA, Angie's List, Yelp, etc.) to find a company who would be able to fix the leak but not make my head (and wallet) sink underwater when I got the bill. Through Yelp I posted an inquiry for businesses to see the job I needed help with and I was contacted by Arturo (Francisco). We exchanged a couple messages and I sent him photos (not that great) so he would have some indication of the issue and scope of work. He said he could come out the next day and provide a free estimate. We coordinated a schedule for him to come out and look at the issue. Many of the other businesses either did not respond or told me there would be a service fee for them to come out and investigate the problem; service fees ranged from $40 to $80. Arturo and his co-worker arrived on time -- very polite, very professional! I showed him the issue where the water seemed to be coming from and explained how I saw the trail of muddy pools along the side of the house. He did a thorough inspection of the drip line and said there was too much water pressure coming through the line causing it to move and the material of the line was being damaged by the rocks underneath the surface. Arturo made sure he had enough materials, proposed a very fair rate to make the repairs and corrections to alleviate the water pressure in the drip line. He is very knowledgeable and intelligent as we discussed some other things which have never been brought to my attention by any other company who I have trusted to take care of maintaining our yards. I was extremely impressed with his thorough knowledge of the business. Overall, if you are looking for an honest and knowledgeable company to take care of your irrigation and lawn services, I would highly suggest to contact Arturo (Francisco) for his services.
