I love the Harps in Grove! They always have the cheapest gas prices in town. It's always clean and organized. I love looking through the big deli and bakery section. They make beautiful desserts. And I love that you can grab sushi from the deli. It has all kinds of good ready made meals and hot options like chicken too. Staff are always helpful. read more

I needed a carrot cake for a special birthday celebration. We tasted a piece of carrot cake from 3 different businesses in Grove OK. HARPS won the taste test hands down due to both overall taste and texture. I ordered one in store and the service was spot on. Then came pickup. The cake was beautifully decorated and available at the appointed time. This may have been one of the prettiest cakes I've ever seen and it was delicious! read more

First time in this grocery store. Like any new experience it was hard to find my way around. Once I figured it out I found what I needed. Prices were decent. The cashier was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. She got me fixed right up and I was on down the road. They have a nice deli section tht was well stocked. Limited wine and beer selection. Aisle were spaced well and was well maintained. Ambiance was like most grocery stores. read more

Except for sales, prices are high. They carry very few organic foods. I could find no meats labeled 'hormone/antibiotic free, only grass fed.' Also the store layout is odd with similar items on different isles. During my last visit, the cashier ignored the bags I brought in & began bagging in plastic. When I asked her to please use my bags, she made no comment, no apology, no eye contact, no smile, no 'did u find everything u needed', and no offer of help to carry out groceries despite my hefty purchase. I dislike Walmart but at least their staff seems better trained & friendlier. read more

Always a friendly and helpful staff. You do pay more than Walmart but, it's worth it not to deal with rude employees at Walmart.

This is where I prefer to grocery shop. Their produce and meat depts are really good in comparison to Walmart. The deli is also really good. I like the taquitos with the taco sauce, makes for a good breakfast. They also have a huge drink selection near the deli. read more

Hmmm... This place has its up and down sides. The up side is that it is kept clean! Oh yeah, they have really good fried chicken. One of the down sides is also the fried chicken. Almost every time I go to get some they only have four or five pieces available. Oh they say there is some in the fryer but it will take 10 minutes which really means 20... The other down side is waiting in line. If they get busy and you are the next person in line, don't you think when they open another register they should offer to take you first? That ain't happening when you have a bunch of teenagers running the front of the store!!! Go for the chicken if they have any, otherwise I would shop somewhere else. read more

Prices have soared since they moved into their new building in Grove. The wealthy would have no problem shopping here. However, they have forgotten those of us not as fortunate who have supported them all these years. We no longer shop with them. read more

Well, folks. I'll tell you what the big yahoo is over the prices, which are INSANE. They move into a 2 million dollar building. Who is gonna pay for that NEW building ? You and me. That's who. The HARP's family has been around for a thousand years. They are usually in tiny towns, like Chelsea, where, of course, they have utterly no competition. They are a plain jane operation in these other little tiny towns. Here's what I believe : I believe that some " consultant " told them that a certain population in Delaware County would put up with their HIGH prices, and glitzy carnival style panorama. It's exactly how that the old A & P stores got BIG in the New York area. But, this is NOT New York. Grove, Oklahoma is a town full of poor people. There are lots of upper middle class people in Grove's outer - urban areas. But, the key word is : PRICE. I will not spend a DOLLAR, if I can get it for 75 cents. And, I don't care about atmosphere. This Harp's is much nicer than the one we used to have in Tulsa. There are many more choices and the food is of a better quality. But that's just my opinion. We stopped by this Harp's recently on our getaway to Grove, OK. We picked up steak for our dinner at our cabin and some groceries we would need to take home. Since we don't have a Harp's in Tulsa, I was not about to let the 5 for 25 deal slip through my fingers. There is a large variety of products in stock and the staff was very friendly. Locally owned grocery store. Plenty of choices. Always have sales going on. Watch prices. Sometimes they overcharge on veggies and fruits.

It might be a little bit higher than Walmart but it's nice and clean and more relaxing good gas prices but thay let people check out to many items at the gas station takes to long to pay for your gas read more

I moved here about 3 years ago. I like Harps. It is a little pricey on some things. It is a very clean and organized store. Lately however on 2 different occasions, I have gotten 2 different young clerks I hadn't seen before and they have both been rude. Today, I went thru the line and she never said 1 word to me. No hello, or thank you even. She barely made eye contact with me. I was helping by putting bagged groceries in the cart. (In which she had put canned food with fruit etc) After I paid, I still had a lot of groceries that needed put into cart and she proceeded to start checking out the customers behind me instead. I told her, I needed her to put groceries in my cart. She did so but never said One word! Lousy Customer Service. She did have time to be friendly & gossip with her co worker. This is the 2nd time I have experience this. I may just start Grocery Shopping at Walmart only. Also, a few weeks ago I heard and saw what appeared to be an Mangager lady that was screaming at the top of her lungs at her poor lady coworker in the Deli. It was drawing attention from customers. I felt so bad for that poor lady. No body deserves that. This Harps has some employee issues with power trips, and rudeness. There are a lot of friendly employees though I've encountered. The boys and a few of the older women. It's mostly young people that work there. read more

Prices may be slightly higher than Walmart on some things but the selection is sensational. Items usually found in healthfood stores or large cities are here in Grove on Harp's shelves. Gas prices are very low & the meat & veggie sections are clean & neat. Staff is always ready to help. Prices & sales are clearly marked. It is easy to shop for sale items just by looking at the tags. The weekly ad delivered to my email where I can create & print my shopping list is a real time saver. The ads also include links to wonderful recipes & meal suggestions. read more
