Looks like my last experience was 10 years ago. I came here again to celebrate Mother's Day with both my mom and mother-in-law and extended family. We got two rooms; one was comped and the other we paid for. The rooms were pretty expensive that day, which okay fine, but what I didn't like was the lack of service we had this time around. Everything just felt a bit off this time around. My biggest thing about this hotel was the strong cigarette smell that you can smell the second you walk into this property. Upon checking in at 5PM, they actually told us they didn't have a room ready for us, even if check-in was at 4. We had to speak with someone, and eventually they did give us a room, but we thought it was odd that they didn't already have a room ready past check-in time. The floating river is a nice touch to this hotel, but the way they didn't explain the details to us of how to get into the pool area without wristbands at check-in was also really annoying. We had to wait in line at the front desk AGAIN, which took a long time to receive the passes we needed in order to get to the pool. Overall, we had a lot of misses this time at this property, but maybe it'll be better next time. read more

It has been YEARS since I last came back to Harrah's Resort Southern California (once known as Harrah's Rincon) The rooms are good for what they are comfortable big and a good size bath tub and shower.... Clean and no issues in the room. Bed was comfortable and everything is pretty decent.... Stayed there for 2 days in the middle of the week. Didn't try any restaurants and mid week the casino wasn't that busy.... I played a little each day. Probably would come back again if in the SD area....though it is still about 35 to 45 minutes out of the way. read more

My husband and I enjoy our visits to Harrahs SoCal. The hotel is clean and spacious inside. There is plenty of parking in the garage. The rooms are decent. The bed is a bit too hard for me. Even-though it's a smoking casino, the ventilation is good. They offer complimentary water and soft drinks. I enjoy playing the slots. They have a variety of restaurants. We like Hell's Kitchen and Smashedburgers. The cafe is decent. If you're in a mood for a swim, there is a lazy pool. However, it gets busy with kids. I like they have a separate adults pool and there's a swim-up bar. It feels like you're on vacation. During this visit, I had the opportunity to use their spa. I got a pedicure and it was excellent from Tracy. We will return. read more

This isn't our favorite casino but it works because they have the lazy river that our kids love. The only reason we came here is because our favorite casino, Pechanga, was fully booked due to Manny Pacquio's son fighting there this weekend. So, my wife got comped rooms here for us to bring the kids for spring break. The suites are nice and the beds are pretty comfortable. They do provide a full mini fridge unlike other casinos that have the fully stocked fridges, where if you move something in it, they charge you. They also have several restaurants that are decent plus a Starbucks that's open until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. They have everything from Mexican, American and Asian but the only drawback is they don't have any seafood restaurants. Hell's Kitchen does have seafood but it's expensive. If you're looking for a quick bite, there is an Earl's sandwiches and a Smashburger for some quick fast food (it's not really quick though because everyone is there). We booked two rooms and our suite wasn't ready until 8pm so they upgraded us to the Surfside suite which was cool. However, we had to all hang out in the normal room for a few hours until they finally upgraded to the higher suite. Overall, Harrah's is cool but Pechanga is our go to in this area. First time staying here and I definitely had a really good time they have 2 pools for adults only with a swim up bar . The one close to the bar is kinda small but they have 2 jacuzzi's next to it and the other pool is was bigger and deeper with lots of chairs the kids pool has a lazy river but you have to bring your own tubes to float around the pool. Inside the casino they have plenty of options to choose from for dining .the rooms where really nice and clean and the parking is free I'll definitely be coming back soon read more

Incompetence at its finest, check in was a hassle no actual person was able to help me get into my room for 2hrs after I checked in. The both machines to get the room key yourself was not working. Our keys kept stopping because of our phone magnet had to constantly return to front desk for new ones. Bring your own floaters because it's about $30 each for the cheapest. Idk it used to better but quality is shit. Customer service is terrible, you have to do room service through your phone to a QR code and show ID in your own room that you have placed order so basically if you have teenagers, you have to stay upstairs for them to bring your kids food so you can share your ID. Honestly, it was absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary. read more

Came here for a Chris Issac concert. Large casino in the middle of nowhere. Haven't been to a casino this crowded in a long while. Rooms were expensive so stayed at a different property. The concert venue is odd, basically a ballroom with banquet seats set up looking at the stage. It had make shift grandstand bleachers in the back. The sound system was good and Chris sounded great. If you can get a good rate for the room I would consider staying. But IMO it's not worth 400 a night. read more

My 5 coworkers and I rented a cabana on a Thursday in the main pool area for approx $250. It came with a shaded area, two lounge chairs, towels, chips and salsa, a fridge, a locker, some water bottles, a few sodas, and a pitcher of iced water. Abigayle took great care of us and was very friendly. We bought food from inside the casino and brought it out to the cabana. Wristbands are provided for 21+. The lazy river wasn't as big as I thought it would be and it was absolutely packed with kids. It's good to see some family fun, but the lazy river was hard to enjoy since kids kept jumping and splashing in all around us. They even swam under us a few times and would knock us around in our tubes. Tubes are not provided and you must bring your own. We brought a mini battery operated air pump to blow them up when we got there. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed our time but will probably check out some adult only lazy rivers in the future. read more

This is my home casino and I come every month or two. It's honestly such a hidden gem. The pool is amazing. It has such a great vibe and the lazy river is perfect to bring your family or kids. The casino is lots of fun and you get comped nonalcoholic beverages while gambling. Do yourself a favor and open a Caesars Rewards players card and be sure to swipe it. You might get lucky and earn some comp rooms. Caesars is also in Vegas so if you play here you'll get invites for Vegas as well. Just the rudest "hospitality" we've ever had -- from the valets to the security guards to our server at Hell's Kitchen, everyone acted like they were doing us a favor. You'd think they all had driven two hours round trip to have a sub-par meal. But the worst people by far were the attendants at Lazy River. We walked through the glass doors to have a look around and about a minute later, I got called to what is apparently the checkin desk for not being allowed at the pool because they were too busy. My husband walked around for three minutes as they made me stay at the checkin desk. We definitely felt singled out as the four staff there were rude and condescending. It's difficult for me to visit this Caesars property but it's one of my favorite. The best spa and pool area! What's not to like? This trip was a bit of a mixed bag. Loved eating, drinking, and hanging out at Hell's Kitchen. As a Caesars Rewards member coming from Nor Cal, my comp and free play is substantial. The highlights were my Arnica massages at the spa and being setup with my new host Jawad, who went out of his way to make my trip the best he could. I had a pretty major issue though. I hope the following can help someone else. Unfortunately, the Caesar property's don't all have the same e-check policies. Due to this, since I'd not been here in a while, I called ahead of time to ask their policy. Primarily, if I'd have unlimited access to my funds using my e-check. The person I spoke to said yes, she thinks so. I told her this was really important to me and would she please make sure. She put me on hold and returned saying yes. I had a 3-night trip and on my second morning I went to the cage to make a withdrawal with my e-check and was told I'd reached my limit. Crazy! Long story short, I communicated my experience and I was given options that would cost me significant money to access my funds. Obviously, if whoever answered my call had given me the correct information, I would have gone to my bank prior to my trip here. Just went to Harrah's to see a show and stay the night at the hotel. Arrived at the hotel at 4:15pm ready to check in. We waited in line for 15 minutes. After reaching the front desk and checking in, the front desk said they would text us when our room was ready. What? Didn't we just check-in?! Room check-in is at 4pm. It was after 4pm. When I asked when they expected the room to be ready, they didn't know. We asked them to estimate 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, but they didn't know and gave no explanation. We said we arrived purposely after 4pm wanting to go to our room right a way to get ready for dinner before the show which started at 7pm. The response: they don't have a room ready, they don't know when it will be ready, and we could check our bag. On top of that, they said we'd have to wait in the long line yet again once we were texted that our room was ready. The customer service was awful. We then meet our friends for dinner before the show. They already waited in line at the Mexican cantina and were told it would be a 20 minute wait for a table. Once we got there, our friends checked the status and the hostess said it was now an hour and 15 minute wait! How did it from 20 minutes to over an hour? Again, no reasonable explanation and no customer service. We found food elsewhere in the casino. No tables to eat at. Had to eat at the slot machines. Food was not good. Finally, we made it into the concert venue. Took our seats and realized we were right behind the camera guy. The seats were not discounted and this was not noted when we purchased the seats. The next day, we had to wait 15 minutes outside for the valet to get the car even though I could see my car from where I was standing. All and all, beyond disappointing experience. My wife when we come to Southern California, we stay here as the rooms are very nice and on the weekdays we get a really nice room and suite to stay at. Unfortunately, my wife and I like to be active gambling or going to Sea World or this time going to the San Diego Zoo and the Wildlife park. We stayed in the Ohio suite which is a two bed room suite with a tub, shower and two toilets which is really nice. What I really love to do is go out to the balcony and lay outside. I sometimes go to the common room just to hang out and just sit there and enjoy. There was a party outside the room, but good thing we did not hear anything. The past 2 visits this casino has been really good to me. I finally got a hand pay here on Top Dollar Deluxe. There was another game where I thought I was going to get a hand pay, but missed the boat which is alright, but I guess no waiting for the dreaded slip. One thing that is good is they pay you right on the spot and no need to wait. However, I feel bad for the slot attendants as they are carrying a lot of money with them. On Thursday, they had a play to redeem a gift card, but for some reason I played quite a bit and was only getting $20 dollars which sucked once I got to the machine to redeem. But at least I came out a winner and the final game I played treated me well. I also played a couple of hours here too which probably helped. I think also if we do a full day staying here is maybe we will go to the pool and try it out as it looks fun and try out the amenities or try other casinos at there since I always been curious. One thing I am surprised at is you have to pay for internet of $12.99 and that sucks since I am a Diamond Plus member I thought I would get it for free, but I guess not. read more

I recall a time before COVID when they offered wonderful stands nearby featuring homemade honey, honeycomb, complete with active beehives onsite for harvesting, as well as fresh fruits, vegetables, yummy inexpensive avocados& homemade jams. We had such a delightful time back then, so we recently decided to return for another visit; June/2026 on our last visit we had a mountain view with a patio, but this time we had a pool view. The room itself was merely adequate; we were quite surprised to find no nightstand drawers or any drawers at all for our clothing. There was only a closet with a single shelf and four hangers I was rather disappointed, although we were offered the option to move, buy without a pool view, we declined due to us being fatigue from a long drive, ziplining& already begun to unpack, we decided to just stay put, We also noticed thr lack of vibrant dancing and lively music at any of the bars #NightLife sucked there, the movie nights on the lawn, they usually have were unavailable.l, #HellsKitchen a very nice ambiance and the food was delicious. My husband got the beef wellington, was amazing! there were a couple eateries, that were also pretty good and a 24hr. cafe that was delicious, even had a little robot come to your table and bring your food. forgive me. I forgot the name of all the yummy restaurants we tried, but unless your out by the pool or gambling, the atmosphere felt quite subdued& unengaging at times. Even the waterfall pool was closed for a significant portion of the day. We were grateful to have rented the luxury poolside seating for 2 of our 5 days, which are located on the 21+ side. The cost is $90 each. The bartenders seemed to be short-staffed, but we're still pleasant, leading to a considerable wait for a rather weak cocktail. Consequently, we have decided not to return. We will instead frequent our preferred destinations in Santa Barbara, La Jolla, San Diego, laguna beach or Airbnb it in Vegas li. I honestly can't believe how frustrating this experience was. I haven't been here in over a year, and tonight reminded me why. I specifically came in to use the non-smoking section, only to find that due to construction, they've placed high-limit machines in that area where smoking is somehow allowed. How does that make any sense? The whole point of a non-smoking section is to avoid smoke--this is just poor planning and even worse management. It gets worse. Right as I'm getting ready to sit down and play, they completely shut down the non-smoking section to clean it. Completely. So now there's literally no option for anyone who doesn't want to be around smoke. That's not an inconvenience--that's a total failure in operations. I brought this up to a floor manager and made it clear that whoever is in charge of this setup is doing a terrible job. There was no real solution offered, which left me with only one option: leave. And that's exactly what I did. Drove less than 3 miles up the road to another casino that actually understands how to manage a non-smoking section without shutting it down entirely. Having a staycation at Harrahs for the lazy river pool. The two queen bed are standard rooms but their showers are massive. We call it the family shower as it fits a family of 4. It has a mini fridge but not a full length mirror. More like 3/4 mirror. The other downside, the carpet was damp when walking with socks and gave a musty room smell that the AC couldn't fix. Because we are local, we decided to skip staying the night and went home. However, we had a fun time at the pool. Lazy river section for all ages, 21+ swim up bar and the main pool. The main pool had volley ball net another section had corn holes. You can reserve the cabanas or first come first serve chairs. They need to replace the chairs. Most of them are broken by the lower back. Not allowed to bring in food or drinks. You are allowed to bring your own floaters. Majority brought the donut tube floaty. Their poolside food is good, it's from 'Ritas the Mexican restaurant or snack side bar. The prices are fair. read more

What a wonderful day this was! We spent most of our time at the lazy river, which is all-ages and was just absolutely perfect since the water temperature, the vibe, the whole experience. They also have a 21-and-up pool with a bar and hot tubs if that's more your scene. We went on a Wednesday and the resort wasn't too crowded, the weather cooperated beautifully, and servers came right to us by the pool with menus. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and arrived without a long wait and that's everything you want on a pool day, honestly. The rooms were clean and ready ahead of check-in time, which we really appreciated! A couple small things ... we did find a cigarette burn in the carpet of our smoke-free room, which was a little puzzling, and the towels weren't quite as plush as you might hope. My husband and I enjoy three nights comped here at this location. Our check-in was smooth and the front desk host was friendly and efficient. We were located in a two queen non-smoking handicap room in the dive in rooms as the one non-smoking that we requested was unavailable. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, no signs of any bugs or anything like that. There are lots of options to dine out, but please take note that a lot of the restaurants are closed on Monday Tuesday and possibly Wednesday or any combination of the three... The Cafe was really good. We had breakfast there. Rita's Cantina had a yummy Birria ramen bowl and delicious cocktails. The pool area was clean. The water was warm and the pool bar was efficient. Spent the MLK holiday weekend here. It' is located on the Rincon Tribe reservation and run by Harrah's. The drive from the IE isn't too bad along the 15 but the twisty scenic two lane mountain roads can be challenging if there is construction of an accident along the way. They are part of the Caesars rewards program so your status and points carry over. The overall resort looks well kept. The hotel rooms are pretty up to date and clean but are a bit in the small size. Bathroom: Large shower but no tub, and a single sink (no makeup area for the wife), with a separate water closet: Kingsize bed was nice but the pillows were too soft. Built in desk, adequate drawer and closet space, and a BIG PLUS for a mini fridge that is empty and free to use. Minus on the in room seating as only one chair was provided. - 3.5 stars The casino is also a bit in the small size but has a good flow with restaurants along both sides of the casino floor. Food selection includes Chinese, Mexican, Burgers, Chicken, Coffee, snack bar, a 24 hr Cafe, and a Hells Kitchen. Pricing isn't Vegas crazy but not cheap either. - 3.5 stars Good selection of slot machines, and table games with all the favorites you see in Vegas. But the layout of the slots and tables could be improved. Drinks are ordered from the machines but because it's California alcohol is not free. - 3 stars Disappointed by the VIP area. It was not well serviced. Machines were dirty and the service was lacking. Not up to the standards at Harrah's Las Vegas properties and not up to the levels of the rest of the resort. - 1 star They have an amazing pool area with a large lazy river and one of their guest towers is themed around it. - 4 stars Hotel staff overall is very friendly and accommodating. Checkin had some computer glitches with the system and kiosks going down but the staff worked to get things going. Valet staff and bell staff are friendly and fast at both arrival and departure. Valet Parking is free depending on your player status. - 5 stars So overall 3.33 stars. A nice local spot if you live in the IE or northern SD county for a day trip of weekend but not a week long destination vacation spot. read more

Need a staycation and you love Las Vegas - head to Harrah's. It has the games, the pool with a lazy river, and fun restaurants like Hells Kitchen. It is summertime so the pool had lots of families, especially in the lazy river. Bring your own float - otherwise they sell them onsite for a lot more money. You can pay to have your float blown up as well. We took our floats to the big pool as well people were mingling, especially at the swim up bar. Others played Water Volley Ball. We also found at least 6 jacuzzis to warm up in. Some evenings there are bands, dis, and even movies under the stars. I highly recommend signing up for the rewards program. This place has its good and bad sides. Every year I come, there's always something, some kind of issue or inconvenience. As mentioned in my previous reviews, I've run into problems here before. Unfortunately, this visit was no different. Not only do they sell lazy river wraps, inflatable donuts, and floaters but they're also charging extra just to inflate them. I assume if you purchased one of their inflatables, they'd at least inflate it for free. even if you bought it from them last year, you'll still be charged. It's $1 plus tax per item just to get some air in it. Considering how much families already spend just to be here, the least they could do is help parents and kids inflate their floaties without an extra fee. It just feels unnecessarily stingy. And the rewards card is just a way to bug you and spam your email. I play and when i go to the machine for points i get nothing or i haven't loss enough money. It says i have to earn more points. I already loss $350+ and thats not enough points. Wtf is this scam. Waste of my money and time read more
