Arrived for lunch after exploring the first signs of snow up around Mt Hotham. Turned up about…read more12.20, which was just after the lunch service started for the day. Only one other couple were present and seemed to be enjoying their meal. Our party of 9 consisted of 4 adults and 5 kids. The entire menu looked delightful and was recommended the Angus Scotch Fillet by the other couple present. As the day was absolutely fantastic we sat out on the ample deck outside. Inside was quaint and had that 'local' feel that only a good pub has. Meals were delivered super quick and not one was below par with their chips to die for. Staff were amazing and very helpful and happy for a chat. Prices were a little pricey but for what was presented, both food/bevvies & service, it was easy to forgive. The novelty of the Sunday Roast will definitely draw us back.

Had a really yummy feed that was tailored to my crazy dietary needs! (King prawns with black sesame…read moreseeds and salad on corn tortillas.) This was accompanied by my new fave beverage - vodka, lime, soda and cucumber - suggested by the awesome peeps behind the bar. The mountain backdrop is serene and was perfectly matched with the beautiful voice of a 14 year old young lady playing an acoustic guitar. Oh and did I mention the Dees beat the Cats on the screen?!!
