Nice shoe company with terrible policies and customer service. I've ordered from Harris several times from their website. Usually no problems, sometimes a little slow on delivery. The last time I ordered was the worst. I ordered a pair of boots at the end of November, I received an email that stated my boots would be delivered within ten days. I kept sending emails after a month and got no answer back from the company. I finally had to go through PayPal to get them to respond. They said my boots were shipped but in customs. They also had them scheduled to be delivered to the wrong address. They told me they changed the delivery address, but they actually did not. It took several attempts to finally correct the address and the boots were finally released from customs. I received the boots almost two months from when I ordered them.
Harris never explained why it took two months or offered me a credit for them taking so long. Then a week after I received the boots I get an email from FedEx for a customs bill for over Two Hundred dollars. I assumed it was a mistake because I've ordered from other companies in Italy and they always covered any Customs charges. I emailed Harris and they informed me it was my responsibility for all customs charges.
