Turtle Run is a "country club" open to the public. They have an 18 whole golf course, a swimming…read morepool, a bar and a banquet center. I cannot comment on the golf course. I have played the course several time, but have no real frame of reference for its quality. I can say that I found it to be well manicured and reasonably challenging. The swimming pool offers a lap pool, that is usually open swim, and a diving well with two diving boards. I have enjoyed all of my experiences at this clean and friendly pool. I have been to several events, weddings and fundraisers, at this banquet center. I even had my rehearsal dinner here. The food has always been alright, and the facility is large and clean but a little out of date. The bar is where I have the most experience. If you are looking for a beer, non-craft, or a simple mixed drink, the bar here is totally serviceable. The staff is friendly enough, but not great. There are several games in the bar including shuffle board, slotts and golden tee (one of my favorites). The best part of the bar is an amazing outdoor patio. It is huge and covered and offers lots of seating. Turtle Run is three star through and through. I enjoy my time there, but only go for the people I know will be there.

We hit the Friday eve specials of a meatloaf dinner and Cuban Sammy. My meatloaf was pretty darn good with a large portion and some good green beaners with pork from the Cuban added result? Made the beans super tasty! The girlfriend loved her first Cuban with that good bread they use. Need to stock up on crown royal for me next time but they had some wild turkey American honey which a lot of folks don't carry. Evening service after their rush was a lil slacking but I'll definitely give 'em another go. They only serve chow till 8 Fri- sat so plan accordingly.

Concessions are totally affordable, some of the best beer & snack prices I've ever come across!

Grounds were in pretty good shape! Open all year round, and a hassle free driving range for practice before the game. There is this guy who lives in a house just off the 15th hole on the orange tees that plays dream-theatre-like opera/metal at full volume, so it's a tad distracting, but otherwise an awesome and slightly challenging course. Greens are very hilly, and tee boxes are kept looking well. The place needs a few more port-o-potty's, but all in all, a good experience!
