After Dr. Asfa studied the area on my leg and understood its cause, he advised against any surgery as he felt that it was not necessary and that it may create further complications. I was disappointed by his advice and felt that he could have provided more options for proper treatment. Several months after following his advice, the fascial defect eventually led to a small painful herniation that eventually required surgery. Based on this experience and the poor advice I was provided, I cannot recommend this location for surgery that requires nuanced medical expertise.

I looked it up and it didn't seem like a lipoma to me because it just wasn't under the skin and couldn't move around. I began becoming extremely concerned thinking the worst, a cancerous tumor. I went to another Dr for a second opinion and he immediately diagnosed me with a uterine fibroid. He suggested that I have a scan done to confirm his diagnosis, which it did. I would avoid this practice altogether.
