The Granary Sideboard I purchased from Harrison's Interiors is a nice
looking sideboard from a distance; closer inspection will reveal shoddy
workmanship in the form of poorly aligned doors, sticking drawers, damaged and broken
runners that have been loosely tacked on using staples and door and drawer
handles that simply come off in your hand. This is a shame because it could be
a nice piece of furniture if more care had been put into its final assembly. This is made worse by Harrison's customer service who ignore
your e-mails, and when you finally get someone on the phone they respond with bewildering
comments like it's not built by a computer and the quality is reflected in
the price. Harrison's did finally agree to refund on condition I arrange and
pay for its return, saying I should have checked it on delivery. Unfortunately
I signed for it unchecked, so be warned! To sum up then, almost a nice piece of furniture that is
unfortunately poorly assembled, but if you like the rustic look, and are
prepared to make some repairs and modifications, despite spending nearly £400, then
it should make a decent addition to your home. As for Harrison's Interiors, don't
be fooled by their neat looking website, I would avoid them completely. read more
