Been there 2 years and half. It's not great place to work out. I didn't enjoy that too much there. Only reason I went is bcz It was cheaper. I used to pay around £28.10 a month. It gets packed in the evening. (5pm to 8 pm). Don't even think of going in those times. Both sides are packed. Best time to go there is in the morning or around mid day. Gym equipment are not great. Same old same old. I have been there long time. I didn't see single new equipment. All I saw, they move around here and there thats all. LOL Some gym staff are not nice on asking for advice but some are nice and helpful . Reception of the downstairs at entrance is terrible in my experience. No greetings such as welcome and so on. Not a single time. I am regular member. They don't even bother. As the time went on, I didn't bother. Swipe the card and do the workout and go home. Oh yes, they have this new policy to wear something in your hand before go inside the gym. Bullshit. What's the point? You swipe your card and then again you swipe your card to get inside the gym. You need a £1 to put your stuff in the lockers. If you live near, it might suit you. Plus if you have a car, there's free car park. Price: I don't know the price for the normal adult. £40 a month. I was a student and my price was £28.10 a month at the time I joined. Now it is £30 a month. Price as you go: £7 All in all I give this gym 2 star. Quite possibly the worst leisure centre in Europe! The concept of customer service is Alien. A competent service of any kind is a far removed reality at this leisure centre! Having said this if this place was run by any of the other Every One Active leisure centre management and teams, I'm sure or at least hope it would be tenfold better!!! The Leisure centre is large and has lot's of potential if run competently. Unfortunately, through forced circumstances, having previously experienced communications with higher management at this place I have concluded the toxic disregard for customers seems to run from the top to most of the front of staff and most of the entire Leisure Centre team. My personal experience was harrowing! I was constantly lied to, manipulated and finally ignored. My dealings at the time were with Ian Milton and his team. He was a Senior regional or Managerial director at that time. I can not see his name on the team any more. Even if he may of left the same toxic ethos and sickening disregard towards customers still exists at Harrow Everyone Active! read more

I've used the swimming pool, squash courts & gym here. The swimming pool is OK, basically it's exactly what you would expect from a swimming pool - it sometimes gets crowded but they all do. Some of the squash courts are alright but if you're unlucky you'll get one with broken lights so you'll be playing in near darkness which obviously affects the game. They could also be better looked after. As for the gym - they've just put in new equipment which is excellent and there are plenty of machines so you rarely have to wait to use any of them. But what really lets this place down is the staff. The staff on reception are appalling - they not only completely lack customer service skills but some seem to go out of their way to be deliberately rude or unhelpful. I visited this place for over a year and the staff were always terrible - it really spoils the whole place and is what made me finally decide to join a private gym. Until they improve the staff this leisure centre will never be an option. read more

I was playing squash a few weeks ago at the leisure centre in the morning and had a great game, but, the last game I went down with a pulled calf muscle or something that ripped. My friend who wanted to do something to easy the pain flew off to reception to get some ice packs, either from first aid or to buy but was told that they did not have any ice packs or in fact they do not have a first aid kit.Lets hope that the female on reception was just being lazy.. I have 37 staff and 4 full first aid boxes. I hobbled to the car and then broke the law to drive home. I think the centre is well run and we always have a good game and it works well just turning up and booking a court. 2 games each deciding match 5 points to me and 1 to her and I get this email that evening All sympathy aside I guess that means I win by default? Took my 4 year old son there today checked public swimming times on line got there asked the receptionist if the learner pool was open she said yes. Paid got changed and it was closed due to staff not turning up. Had a quick dip in the main pool. This is not suitable for young children as its too cold and they can't stand up at all. I am heavily pregnant and so could only carry my son in the water for about 30 minutes. I spoke to the manager who did give me my money back and was very apologetic however this is the fourth time this has happened. They need to sort staff out as when it is busy there is not enough staff and when quiet staff don't bother to turn up. Its a pity because the learner pool is great for young children however I have not been able to use it for 5 months. read more
