Wanted to try the pink lotus watch in the Harry Winston Premier collection. Very disappointed to see that the color of the flower petals look drastically different from the stock photo on their official website. The red petals online looked orange in person. The sales informed me it's an individual variation, meaning that this is a one-off scenario where only this particular watch's color is off. However, I went to another Harry Winston store later on and saw another pink lotus watch also orange. This time I was told that the orange color is the true color of the watch, regardless of how many more I see. I'm very disappointed by how far the stock photo is from representing the actual color of the watch. read more

Horrific experience. Go here if you want to be disrespected and have your day ruined. After asking the salesperson (Yang Ning) to explain different pavé styles to me, he was extremely disinterested in helping and borderline rude so we left. When I went back to ask for his business card so I could note a complaint, he instructed the security guard to lock the doors and then let me in to start berating me that Harry Winston does not use the term French pavé (I hadn't even said anything!). Wild experience. If you hate serving people and think you're better than the customers you serve, then don't work in customer service. Thank you to Tiffany's and Van Cleef who were more than happy to take our $10k in diamond purchases with a smile. Harry Winston may have quality diamonds but it's not worth the experience of the incredibly rude, classless, and untrained staff. Totally wild - take your money elsewhere. read more

I traveled to Las Vegas last week. I visited Harry Winston because I was looking for inspiration for a gift for my for 30th wedding anniversary. My budget is about $250,000. I had seen their signature Halo and wished to see it in person. I went into store at the Bellagio and was greeted by the rudest man who was working there. He would not remove any of the rings from the cases to show me. He stood off to the side and whenever we asked a question about the size of the diamonds he was very rude. I actually expected to be snobbed right out of the store but the employees were not off-putting or snobbish in any way. They didn't appear to assume we could not afford the items in the store. We're well off and can afford some of this jewelry, but by no means well-off enough to pretend we can afford a ton of it. Still, I tried on a few engagement rings for when the time is right for an upgrade. I eyeballed Harry Winston when I was initially looking at engagement rings but there weren't any local retailers for me to try it on. I was finally able to do so and tried on two very beautiful diamonds with pave settings. One was 2 carats and was around $300,000 while the second was smaller at around 1.5 carats and was $150,000. Both sparkled immensely and were lovely - they were a bit large for my finger but I could get over that if I absolutely had to. I saw some other lovely pieces in the store - but nothing that was really my taste or style. They have any manner of items you'd wish to see, earrings, bracelets, rings, watches, statement jewelry, every day pieces, etc. Prices range from a few thousand to several hundred thousand. If you are trying on the high-priced engagement rings as I did - they seal the room and lock it like a safe when they take the rings out of the display case and set them on the table. An interesting experience to be sure. The employee very kindly wrote the information for the pieces I tried down on a card and provided it to my husband for safekeeping. No pretense or judgment at all. That's good customer service. I loathe snobbery based on age or dress in retail, I will not buy from anyone who does that no matter how much I like the item. read more

So, I'm in no position to really be saying yes let's go to Harry Winston, but let's admit it - what girl isn't a big fan of diamonds? As far as diamonds go, I'm a big fan. A bright shinning star fan. So when we passed Harry's we had to go in. (Well we didn't have to, but I'm dating a man that has an affinity for pretty things too - he's dating me, right?) I put on a necklace that I swear to you I would have worn vaccumming, and nothing else. Of course Harry only has colorless diamonds. I was infatuated. Then William Friskhorn showed us a piece (a necklace) that is one of a kind. None other in the world right now. It was a mere 350k. I choked. I also tried to make my beautiful green eyes sparkle as much as the diamonds. I tried on a 5 carat emerald cut VS1 (or 2) ring with baquettes. I started shaking. We had to get out of there because I started sweating. I'm not ready for that. But it was the most beautiful piece I have ever placed upon my hand. I'm telling you, this ring could have competed with Grace Kelly's 10 carat. It was AH--- MAZING.... So I've said enough about the diamonds, let me get to the store itself. Not pretentious and there for service. These jewelers know their stuff. Treat you with respect, and really, really were polite. I carefully placed William'ss card in Joe's wallet right behind the AmEx (just in case)...we did discuss my necklace choices over dinner. But none came home. A girl can keep dreaming. If and when we do go back, I'd love to make to to Harry's. As an addendum - I had to update my review with William's name. I mean I did do a great job on product placement in his wallet. I had to text my beau and he had it right where I had left it and was able to provide me with William's full name. William was professional and knowledgable. (And pretty hot I might add). So I had been shopping for an engagement ring for over a year, I went to David Yurman, Tiffany's, and a couple other places. Then I was at the crystal shop and came across Harry Winston. I walked in and was greeted by Sara. She is such a sweetheart! She was very knowledgeable and helped me narrow down on a few rings. She really gave me such an amazing customer service that I had to go back. First of all. I fell in LOVE with the ring. I went back to the other spots I had gone and I couldn't look at those rings after seeing Harry Winston. It was night and day difference in quality. So after a few months I went back to see Sara and I ended up choosing the ring. She helped find the right one and later we were able to find one that just got into the syShe made sure it was resized on time and kept close contact with me on the update of the ring. My husband and I have been looking for a nice pair of statement earrings and of course I suggested looking at the HW pieces. We were referred to and have been working with Valerie at the shops at Crystal. Our trip has been postponed due to the pandemic. Valerie has been helping me virtually look at their different diamond earrings so I am not completely overwhelmed when we finally arrive. She has been a pleasure to work with. She is very polite and not at all pushy (which sometimes can happen in jewelry stores). She has provided me with multiple photos and videos. She is also very knowledgeable about all of the pieces and has answered numerous questions for us. I have finally narrowed down my options to 3 pairs and we will decide in person next month. This HW salon is probably amongst one of the very few unpretentious high end jewelry salons in the U.S. It is not a huge HW salon in comparison to the Beverly Hills salon or the Manhattan flagship. It carries a very good classic selection of HW engagement rings, fashion pieces, watches, and several fine color stone pieces. Even though I did not end up sealing an engagement ring deal here, Tony, the salon manager, and his staff were very patient, gracious, and professional. I was little heisted in the beginning cus the price, and the pressure from the sales person(base on my experience in LA). So we went in, and there's a sale person name Sara, she was super super helpful and friendly, not only showcased the items, also educated us from Diamonds to the history of the brand, not give us the pressure to buy it, and put us at ease.
