This was the first time for me in this restaurant and second time for another person in our group…read moreof three. When we arrived we were quickly escorted to a nice slightly more private location next to gaming machine where there was only our table around. This proved to be both good and bad as possibly due to slightly different location the waiters were hard to catch and the service was somewhat on the slower side and slightly ignorant - Rating (Service): 2.5 /5. When it comes to food however, the story is different. For a place that initially seems more of a bar/nightclub / cheap chain restaurant, the food surprised us in a positive way - Rating (Food overall) ~4/5. We had triple xxx miniburgers (Rating: 4/5) as starters (shared one each) and although they were really miniature (this time we were appropriately warned so we were not surprised) and they were really good. For mains we had one Ox and goat cheese and two arctic chars as these were recommended for us. The Ox of was well prepared and tasted OK althought the combination of mashed potatoes and berry jam did miss the sweet spot to the taste of our team (Rating: 3/5). The Arctic char was a different story as it tasted very good and the portion was well sized (Rating: 4/5). For desert, we had one nordic ice-cream, one liquorice pannacotta and one coop of ice cream. The liquorice pannacotta was really good and we did enjoy tasting it, but one needs to be adjusted to the taste of liquorice / salt liquorice in advance to be able to appreciate it(!) (Rating 4.5/5). The options for the coop of ice felt rather strange so the staff managed to get a scoop of non home made chocolate ice cream from the cafeteria that was somehow connected to the restaurant. This was also a positive surprise as the portion was well sized but low prised and contained a little bit of brownie and chocolate dressing as well (Rating: 3.5/5) The nordic ice cream was also very enjoyable. Both brownie and chocolate peanut ice cream in it were really good. The berry ice cream was not that much to the taste of of group, however the portion was again very well sized and very pleasant as there were lots of different tastes available (Rating: 4/5) We paid 85e for the food above altogether by our group of three and we think that this was not too bad. --- Summa summarum: the food was better than expected and the service slightly worse than expected but the overall price / value ratio was good. We'd visit again!
