The Dew Drop Inn is tied for the BEST fish and chips we've ever eaten. (The other location is the Dingle Ahoy! cart/window in Dingle.) They were absolutely perfect. Crisp, lots of fish, well seasoned. The chips were a revelation as well. I may well be ruined for mushy peas for life, because these were exquisate. Also...the confit of duck was SO good, we decided to come back the next day and order that again!! The second night we were there, I sadly don't recall exactly what we had, but I believe it was a potato soup, and seabass. They were all delicious. We honestly wished we had more time in the area, and part of the reason was to try more food and drinks here!!! The cocktails and beer were grand, and the service was absolutely perfect. The kitchen closes early here, even on Fridays; 8pm during our June 2026 visit, so plan around that if you are intending to get dinner. Drink pricing is on par with other tourist cities; not bad. As with most pubs, beer and liquor selection is limited outside of the extensive Irish Whiskey options. For example, two rums, one bourbon, beers were what we encountered everywhere and no deviation. Service was similar to the rest of Ireland; initial order taking and then you have to flag someone down for anything after that.
