I received the most spectacular bouquet of flowers ever from my son and daughter in law ordered from Sweet Nectar. The selection of flowers in the arrangement was amazing including hydrangeas, liatris, lilies etc. And the vase the flowers were placed in is beautiful. I have received bouquets from them for other occasions and they were always beautiful as well but this one for Mother's Day was exquisite. My son lives in NJ and when asked about a local florist I suggested Sweet Nectar. He has been using them for my birthday and Mother's Day for a few years now and the arrangements have never disappointed. I cannot recommend a florist more highly. When I order flowers from a state I don't live in I always look up a local florist with good reviews, rather than going through a third party. I ordered "Mother's Day Flowers" from Sweet Nectar for my mom online & chose a beautiful bouquet & spent $113. The flowers that were delivered were NOTHING like what I ordered. When my sister called to let them know they were very nice & said they would fix it. They also, said they wanted the flowers back that they messed up on, very tacky & unprofessional. The new flowers were delivered the next day. The vase was correct & the colors were correct, but again nothing like what I ordered. Thank goodness my mom took pictures, so we could see what she got. Again, very disappointing. I've learned my lesson & will not be ordering from this establishment again. read more

He called around to try to find a replacement and when he couldn't find one, he went out to an area nursery and communicated options with me to be sure I got something I liked. THEY CHARGE YOUR CARD BUT DENY TRANSACTION WENT THROUGHeven after receiving order confirmation from their website. This flower shop called saying my card was declined for my website ONLINE (their website!) order made the day before. I checked my bank app and called my bank to confirm my account was charged $117.35. I offered to send the lady at Sweet Nectar a screenshot of the $117.35 charge from my account, but she said she would send me a screenshot of their "declined" transactions and still not deliver flowers for a funeral tomorrow. Two issues: your credit card is not secure when ordering from their websites because a person in the store still has access to and manually enters your complete card information, and getting an order confirmation from their website means nothing. I gave this shop a chance assuming the previous 1-star reviews had been remedied over the past years, but THEY HAVE NOT. There are better, honest, professional options, so DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. UPDATE - Four hours later, Sweet Nectar had the payment processing company, NOT THE NASTY EMPLOYEE OR OWNER FROM SWEET NECTAR, call to apologize, saying there was an error, my payment was received, and would I like Sweet Nectar to deliver the flowers. In the meantime, I placed my order from Julia's Florist in Wilmington. I received professional, prompt service from a delightful woman, followed by an email invoice, receipt of payment, and confirmation the delivery had been made. I found this place from searching online. I live in Austin TX and my Mother lives in Leland, NC. Using a local florist is always best to insure freshness and good delivery. I ordered from them via their website on May 8th to be delivered specifically on Saturday May 12th since their site said they were closed on Sundays. It's the end of the day and there has been no delivery. I am beyond upset. They have not answered their phone. If there was going to be a delay, they had 5 days to let me know. Now I will have to follow up with them on Monday after Mother's day has passed. This is very unacceptable. read more

Wedding flowers I was very pleased with their choices of flowers I could use in my bouquet and other flowers for the groom, my witnesses, and parents of the groom. They were fresh and beautiful and lasted for 4 days after my wedding date. I will definitely use them again. I checked out the review before I went there but I didn't seem very concerned since I was sitting down with the florist. Was very disappointed in Customer Service, Employee/Owner never apologized for refusing to honor Teleflora price on a Floral Spray that was ordered (sisters funeral) online. He just flat out refused to do it, instead of honoring the price that was quoted and paid for ahead of time. Worst experience ever, ordered flowers 4 days before valentines day , yes 4 day , called and verified the order and till this day they have no clue of why it wasn't deliverded. Most of all was mislead to use a nice word , told flowers on the truck , mislead twice . They don't have a clue of customer service nor how to run a business. By Thursday, 2 of the stems were completely bare & the greenery used in the bouquet was half dead & brown. When I took the bouquet home, most of the remaining petals were all over my car floor.
