DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY Went for Dx bone density scan, which I have been doing periodically most of my adult life on the advice of my dr. Because of an underlying issue I have, it allegedly was very difficult for the tech to access whatever she needed to scan, at which time she continually complained & blamed my condition for causing her difficulties & inability. Not only was she incompetent, she was also EXTREMELY insensitive & cruel. NEVER USE THIS Facility !!!They are a disgrace & the BONE DENSITY tech ( older woman with resting bitch face) should be retrained or replaced. read more

Went yesterday for a Dexa scan and even though I was laying still the tech who smelled faintly of cigarets could not get and image. I have both afib and asthma. Also the dr wrote the order for hip scan and I have two hip replacements. I felt victimized and demoralized. read more

Lenox Hill Radiology (LHR) took over Hartsdale Imaging and could not communicate the information about my appointment for October 8 after I'd spent two hours on the phone and their website to set up a mammogram and CAT scan. I discovered that when I stopped by Hartsdale Imaging to turn in the prescription my new gynecologist had written. This took another half hour. In an age of computers, GIGO (garbage in, garbage out) is only as good as the people inputting information. LHR fails on all counts, and this is not the first time I have had problems with them, their website, and the phone number in Maryland for a New York appointment. read more

The MRI went just fine. It is the administrative end that is a nightmare. Prior to the visit I was sent a text with a link to a bunch of forms to be completed. It took me nearly an hour to complete. Then I show up for my 1:00 appointment and I have to sign three forms. They also want to take images of the backs of my insurance cards that I know I sent when I filled out all their forms. That takes 2 minutes tops. I then have to wait to be called. After a half hour, I asked what gives. I'm told my MRI is scheduled for 1:30 PM and that they are a little behind. Why was I asked to be there at 1:00 ? I'm told to fill out forms. But I filled them out online, I say. I get no response to that. At around 1:45 I get called in for the MRI. The tech starts asking a series of question that I had already answered on line. When I complain about that, I'm told that if I don't want to answer them again, they can't do the MRI. This type of treatment of patients and consideration of their time is epidemic in the health care industry. read more

I went for an MRI with and without contrast on my left thumb. Although I have been here a few times before, everything about the facility was great -- the staff were pleasant, it was clean, and I didn't wait very long. Since they wanted to get the same exact images with and without contrast, they first did without contrast. Once complete, they stop to then administer the contrast... this is where the problem was. They had me positioned on my stomach and each time they tried to insert the butterfly needle thingy, the vein would take only so much of the contrast and collapse (as they said) -- and it took the technician and a doctor 5 tries. By the time I got home, my hand and arm were a mess. I was annoyed and frightened with how swollen the back of my right hand was and how much blood and contrast were under my skin. I am bruised on the entire back of my hand excluding a half inch rim around the parameter. I hope it goes away before Christmas. For those reasons, I rated Hartsdale Imaging 3 stars vs. the 5 stars I did on the survey inside. It is upsetting to look like someone beat the hell out of me and now I have two sore hands. CT Scan was 7/3, office experience was good. However 12 days later I'm being told it hasn't even been reviewed by a radiologist yet. If you want your results in a timely manner, go elsewhere. read more

DON'T GO HERE for x-rays. Website says no appointments given for x-rays; can do walk-in only. I called Hartsdale Imaging phone nbr to try to make an appointment and recording also said no appointments provided for x-rays; walk-in only. So I went this morning, and they asked me if I had an appointment!?! Said they couldn't see me without an appointment. When I pointed out there's no way to get an appointment, and I would go elsewhere, receptionist said they'd try and squeeze me in. Waiting room a/c was strong; room was freezing. Patients came and went. I sat for 1 hr 45 min. with no acknowledgement or sign of service coming up. I said goodbye and left. read more

Let me say first that the staff at Hartsdale are worthy of 5 stars!! What gets the 1 stars is the recent transition to Lenox Hill Radiology group. Before the switch you could call the office directly, be told how to prepare, get results within a day and efficiently have the results sent to the doctor. My recent visit was none of that. First, the only number you can call is the central Lenox Hill phone number where you get rote answers. Second no one informed me ahead of time that I needed to drink water before my test. So we had to waste time with me drinking and getting the water through my system. Third, my doctors office was told the results would be ready in 2-3 days!!! Before the switch we got results the same day. I had to go to the office and ask them to try and get my results read faster (again, the ladies at the desk were super nice and actually were able to get it done). Fourth, it has been a day since my results were ready and still they haven't been sent to the doctors office. In summary, I will go to another radiology place that is not associated with Lenox Hill and I recommend you do the same. read more

Beware of this place. They tried to force me to get a head x-ray when I went there for an ankle MRI, because I once had a minute piece of metal removed from my eye over 10 years ago. I provided written proof at their request from Westchester Advanced Imaging (WAI) that it was safe to scan me. WAI had done countless MRIs over the past 7 years, since having open heart surgery. Even with all the proof they refused, "saying it was for my own safety" fore which it was not. It clearly was so they could create extra billable codes to the insurance. Personally I believe their actions may be illegal and also manipulative towards patients when they need to get a scan asap. That's 2 1/2 hours of my live waiting there I'll never get back. read more

Still waiting for mammography results after 8 days, one doctor reads tests. This is absolutely disgraceful, I was going to Westchester imaging in white plains with two physicians reading mammmography tests while you waited and gave immediate results. Unfortunately, due to covid, they lost their business, it should have been Hartsdale Imaging, the physicians do not care about patients, just insurance. i have no complaint about the staff. I had an excellent experience at Hartsdale Imaging today. Staff including front desk staff were fantastic. The facility was clean and I was not kept waiting. Highly recommended for professionalism and courtesy to patients. read more

Appointment was for 2:30pm on a Monday for a CT scan. Out by 3:00pm. Report sent to my doctor that same day. Professional.

I had an x-ray appointment at 10:30. I sat in the waiting room until I was shown into the x-ray room at 5 minutes before noon, and that's after I asked several times about the holdup. Waiting almost one and half hours past the time of an appointment is unacceptable. I was told the room had to be set up, but that can't have taken that long. I have no idea whether the images were good or not, but you have to be able to get as good an x-ray elsewhere without that kind of wait. I even had to wait at the door about 5 minutes while the three appointment clerks each tried to look busier than the other before someone came to take my temperature and let me in - and that was possibly because two other people had piled up behind me by that time. The wait time is horrendous. Waited 1 1/2 hours for a CT scan that took only 5 minutes. Unbelievable.

I had a wait of 55 minutes today for an X-ray. After a half hour, I politely asked the receptionist if they were behind schedule. After 45 minutes, I asked if I could have the email address of an office manager in order to ask about their scheduling system. I told her I was uncomfortable in a waiting area with so many people and for so long during a pandemic. She phoned someone who came out and simply handed me a feedback form without answering my question or giving any explanation about the delay. After another 10 minutes this same brusque woman came back. She turned out to be my technician. As she led me to the examining room, she muttered under her breath "angry mob". I did not reply. But I thought--of course, who wouldn't be angry? Obviously, others were too if she said this. In the waiting room I could not even find a spot 6 feet away from another patient. I will not return to this facility. read more

Having had several images done at this facility. I am very happy with their service. Appointments are easy to make, and they will schedule procedures together to save time. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are also very patient. I highly recommend procedures here. read more

They make appointments and don't keep them was told to be there 15 minutes prior to an 11:30 appointment and sat for over and hour and a half for an MRI. The place is a joke staff outside the building talking and not handling customers. Make sure you have nothing better to do but sit and watch people come in after you and leave ahead of you. read more

I've had a terrible experience with them last year and don't know why I went back. I had a cervical MRI which was basically boilerplate from the previous year's images prior to surgery. I recently had a fusion surgery on c5-c6 and they incorrectly listed prosthesis at c6-c7. They were rude and refused to correct the error. I was told to contact my neurosurgeon to correct it. The Dr/owner refuses to speak with me. The reason I went to them was post surgical complications; and fusion nor anything relevant was addressed as it was imperative too. Imagine if I took this report that they insist is correct and got another surgery on the wrong level? How do I know this year or last years was accurate after the obvious error? Not good. read more

Worst facility I've ever been to for any medical testing, and I've been to a lot of places. I had to get a mammogram and an ultrasound and the technicians were cold, lifeless people who showed no concern or warmth at all. It was like they weren't dealing with actual people. Every other facility I've ever been to, the people are friendly and nice, and knowing that you are going for some pretty serious tests, they show compassion, but not the people at Hartsdale Imaging. I would recommend any other place in Westchester over this place. read more

I have had a Mammo/Sono every year here. Appointments are a breeze to make. Front staff are very nice. No wait time when I get there. Nina, the sonogram tech is amazing! She's so thorough in her job and an amazing personality! Makes it a pleasure to have the sono done with her! read more

This is a horrific place. My wife was ultimately diagnosed with breast cancer, and the way she was treated by Dr. Schmidt was inhumane, disrespectful, and highly unprofessional. Dr. Schmidt was completely lacking in empathy, the biopsy was inaccurate, and her communication skills are sub-zero. Fortunately, we found a wonderful oncologist and my wife is now doing well. But Hartsdale Imaging should be closed down. read more
