Warning, hearing damage. Sampled the sermons on their site, excellent teaching. Even though the music is expertly performed, I strongly suggest you arrive late enough to miss it entirely, or only visit online. It is so loud it is painful. Maybe they could offer a separate service for people who want to preserve their hearing. read more

Unaccountability is a huge problem at Harvest Church on many levels. It's ripe pungent smell of poor excuse making and justifying unloving sin absolutely reeks. A lot of what you see there on a Sunday is a show. They forsake people easily. To the point were a group of people connected with an attorney and considered taking legal action with the leadership there. They posted it publicly. The truth, is those folks took action because when they spoke up beforehand they were silenced and or punished for doing so. Some use to work at Harvest. So when they went public, Vern, in order to save face and minimize looking bad gave off the false impression of leadership justifying actions and claiming owning them when they hadwronged congregation......which they really were not owning anything. It's more to save face so they don't look bad in the eyes of the congregation and public. Which leads to gaslighting is another huge problem within this church. Harvest is not how it appears on the surface. So it begs the question, why didn't Vern do that beforehand with those people? Why did he wait? In fact why did he fire some of them when they spoke up to possible wrong doing? Like I said before, Harvest Church has unnacountability problems on many levels. This is a feel good church with lying being huge problem here. Vern once did an interview and in it he told a story about how some guy had some cash, roughly $10,000, in an illegal manner. I believe the interview is online. Vern proceeds to state this guy gave it to him after a convicted spirit following a service. Vern took it, even though, it was illegal with how the individual received it in the first place. Vern didn't give it back to the rightful owners. He used it for the church fund. I guess when he put a holy spin on things it's ok huh? Harvest is not like many evangelical churches where leadership gets away with covering up sin. It would be nice if efforts were taken to stop this from happening in the church anymore. Who likes being lied to? Not only to others but themselves. Who likes it when people put on a fake false image? Vern claims he loves people but then throws them away when they are an inconvenience for him? His actions show what is in his heart more so than his words. read more

It's one thing what you see inside that building. It's another outside of it. Fun is required as they say, the truth is, love is optional there. If you want to be part of an immature, unthoughtful, and unloving church. Then this is the church for you! Where they care somewhat, yet one wonders really how much. They sure care about your money, or what you can give them. They don't really take Jesus seriously. Harvest has pulled the world into their church, trying to appeal to the world, only to create a worldly church. Yet the reality is some people of the world truly love more like Jesus does, than they do. Leadership abuse power, act like privileged, intellectually lazy adolescents, are self focused, and enable of an entitled spirit. It's more about who you are there. This church might as well be a club. They sometimes take it seriously but most of the time don't take it seriously. Most of their teachings go out the window when the service ends. read more
