This church teaches the community through outreach especially like crusades, movie previews, Harvest parties, Easter egg hunts and Christmas celebrations. The people here are super nice. They have many volunteers. Pastor Greg is personable and I love his teaching. He preaches verse by verse. I highly recommend getting involved in small groups as it is a very big church!

Way too big. Way too commercialized. If you are looking for a welcoming church where you feel accepted, this is not the place.

Ask the Community - Harvest

Is the bookstore still open?

Yes it's is open now! ✋🏽🤚🏽

Do you also have worship time on 7pm Wednesday evening Bible Study?

Yes. We open all of our services and events with worship! Typically it's anywhere from 20-30 mins of worship, offering, and sometimes we'll have communion. Same for Thursday Virtue women's ministry.

Why I can't see the real live Pastor Greg Laurie preaching only from the screen?

I have the same question. I even went to his Irvine church and he isn't there.

What are the time for mass?

For Harvest in Riverside, it's 8am, 10am, 12pm and 6pm

I was looking for a church with an open and affirming stance on LGBTQ community and a friend…read morerecommended this church. Been attending almost 2 years now. I'm in my 30s and was raised Catholic, and was pretty certain of what I want and Don't want i a church. The community is very diverse; a little over 100 people in attendance, all races, a lot of working teachers and retired school personnel, and a growing population of families with babies to high schoolers. Even though the community and the sermons are very contemporary and progressive, there is something familiar and nice about the old traditional feel of the stained glass, the choir, and the pews. It's a place where everyone is welcome and you can dress as comfortably or as flamboyantly as you'd like. They feed the community every Wednesday, giving a hot meal, clothing, and toiletries to whoever needs it. They also host free medical/dental events every other week. Whenever there is a progressive rally or march, the church tends to host the meeting point with snacks and water bottles. Besides volunteering, there is a lot of social activities, concerts, potlucks, movie nights, book clubs, and guest speakers from the University and other non-profits. Sunday Parking is easy and free, right out front, if you get there around 9:40, unless there is the occasional Downtown event. I would recommend this church to anyone looking to join a new church in Riverside.

I visited today 6/29 with my fiancé, it was his first time and I have visited once before. We gave…read moreit a visit, but after today we will not be attending. First off, the decision to perform a Jelly Roll song mid service was extremely... odd? Seemed like they just really wanted to perform the song and it had us confused as to what was going on. Like others have mentioned the sermon is more watered down than we're used to. It seemed as if the Scripture was used to support whatever the church was trying to say and felt repetitive. We're more used to the Bible being the center of focus and whatever connections can be made to everyday life are made but understanding Scripture and growth in faith are not overshadowed. All that being said their coffee shop is yummy and the greeters were nice.

Visited for the Life Surge Event that was held on this beautiful Church Campus. I went to the first…read moregate and a woman directed me to the gate on Fullerton. The church staff or Life Surge staff was so rude to attendees... tapping his watch (to tell us we were coming late...as if we didn't know). When it was my turn to speak with him, as he had routed the cars ahead of me away from this particular entrance, he gestures his hand to tell me to GO ON and I asked "Where am I going? I was told to come to this entrance" He said, "Follow the other cars!" WOW. How helpful... was my thought. I had to speed up quickly to try and catch up with the other cars to follow them (felt like the blind leading the blind) to the 3rd entrance on Kellogg Ave. Once there it was no one to direct traffic. Cars were going every-which-a-way. It was so confusing. BUT I Found parking by the GRACE of GOD and did my best to navigate walking the campus by following the crowd to the entrance of the church. ONCE INSIDE: The Life Surge ushers that are SUPPOSE to help you find seating were so rude -- beckoning for people to keep moving. It was just like where is the kindness, where are the FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT!? Some of them were like the walking dead. Lifeless but existing. No warmth, cold. After getting over the arrival situation, parking and getting to a seat.... I DID ENJOY THE CONFERENCE. It was a blessing! MY SUGGESTION: church staff and/or Life Surge Staff definitely need to go through thorough interview processes like maybe (3) interviews to determine if they are fit to deal with the public. Perhaps the pastor or directors should also check to see if these folks need deliverance cause some of them definitely were NOT operating with the spirit of The MOST HIGH. Crossroads Church thank you for hosting this event but I do wish that things would have been more organized with parking, directing of traffic within the parking lots, directing of the crowds either with staff by the parking lots or signs leading folks to the church and the finding of seats once inside. I stand by this review from my experience on 1/12/24.

We have a group of 3 churches involved so far and would like your church to come alongside us however you can! On Sunday February 14th, 2020 (Valentine's Day) we plan to host a pro life rally at Laguna Main Beach (intersection of South Coast highway and Broadway St ), starting at 2:00 PM. There we plan to uplift preborn human life and the "Heartbeat Protection Act." This act introduces legislation to ban abortions anytime after a heartbeat can be detected in the pre born. Several states have already passed such legislation, and we are looking to expand this Act to California, other states, and also to the federal level. You are welcome to write up a message and give it, publicly like many other Pastors, authors, and teachers will. We will be handing out Bible tracts, info on the HeartBeat Bill and heart shaped balloons.
