I was asked about the type of pressure I'd like, and when I shared that I wanted firmer pressure, they mentioned it would be $10 extra. A little unusual for a foot only massage and not listed on the pricing menu, but it was disclosed verbally upfront. Annoying but fine. During the course of my 1 hour foot massage, the masseuse is on her phone texting and coordinating appointments. She gets up and leaves the room 9 times. 9! To go and help translate with customers who are coming in for their appointments. She's apologetic, but how much "firm" pressure do you think is really being applied when you're massaging with one hand and texting with the other? At this point, I've already made the mental note not to return. Now to the moment that prompted the review: I go to check out and I do tip $10, despite not being happy overall with the constant breaks in service and not feeling like I got exceptionally "firm" pressure.
