Mr. Pluymert's posture was very casual - for example he never took notes during our two hour-long meetings. As a consequence he very often failed to relay concerns and objections correctly to the executors. I received no feedback from the executors to very important questions. Thankfully I made no contribution to Mr. Pluymert's fees or expenses. Primary and secondary executor contributed 100% of the mediation cost. As a consequence, although he continually professed to represent all sides without bias, he clearly took direction from the primary and secondary executors. I found it necessary to review the difference between criminal law and civil law since he was determined to obfuscate the distinction. Just terrible!

From the minute I retained them, I felt confident in their ability to represent me in my case. To respond to another review, no, they will not file your case until you pay your balance, and that is not out of the ordinary for Chapter 7 filings. But, the minute you pay your $100, they are your representative and you can simply tell your creditors to contact them. I don't think any bankruptcy attorney would be in business very long if they relied on bankrupt people to pay them back AFTER filing:) My case was a little more work than the usual case, but John was willing to go the extra mile and ALWAYS kept in touch with me. He'd return calls within 10 minutes if I couldn't get a hold of him. We even spoke as late as 9pm some days. I cannot recommend Chang & Carlin highly enough.
