Horrible, careless work! Hired him to install a reverse osmosis system under my kitchen sink. He sent someone do it who appeared to not know what he was doing. Then, when the filter started leaking, he sent the same guy back who could not find the source of the leak (!) and Harvey said it was NOT the installation. Meanwhile, the leak ruined the hardwood floors in front of the sink. I paid a plumber $300 to detect the leak which he said was caused by teflon tape not being used in one of the joints. So yes, it was a botched installation. This is a man who does NOT care about his work and who will not stand by it. Stay away! read more

Harvey's Handyman Service is terrible. The owner Harvey is a con artist. He promised me a project to be complete for one price and in 3 weeks time. He asked me for a down payment then every week asked for more draws of money to complete the project. After he cashed the last check he said he wouldn't come back unless I agreed to pay him more money. When I told him we had an agreement he stopped answering my calls and texts and never came back. He took my money and would not complete the project. I had to pay another handyman to fix his guys mistakes and finish the job which cost me even more money and time. All told he stretched the 3 week project out 9 weeks and did not even finish. read more

This guy ripped me off. He told me one price to redo my kitchen and then kept asking for more money. He kept asking for draws each week. After I had paid him $1000 more dollars than we originally agreed to he stopped sending guys to do the work and never finished. He stopped answering my phone calls and now it's a month later and I have to get another contractor to finish. Do not trust Harvey! He will rip you off too. If your looking to hire a handyman please don't hire Harvey's Handyman Services out of Whitehouse Tx. He was hired to do a job on our residence and we came to an agreement on a certain amount of time and a certain dollar amount. We started him off with the first amount of money for supplies to get him started and he just kept coming back asking for more money and more money for this and for that and the whole time nothing was getting done. He started many different things inside the residence but never finished not one task. He kept coming up with different excuses to why things weren't getting done until finally many weeks after our agreed amount of time I finally just had to say enough is enough. He'd already taken thousands and thousands of dollars from me and nothing was completed at all. So I'm trying to keep anybody else from making the same horrible mistake that I did. He will make you feel violated and robbed and will make you have a different outlook on hiring someone else later in life.
