These people cheat you with giving lower weight and I took 100 pounds of extrusion aluminum there and they wrote it off as sheet aluminum and paid 25 cents a pound I took this for another person and didn't know anything about metal but he tried to say it had to be new to be extrusion they are seriously rip off company and won't even tell you who owns the company. I started going to Has Recycling after I was a very loyal customer over 20 years with Greyco and as I became a single women I continued on my own to scrap there in efforts to make ends meet by myself and started getting cheated out of ALL My copper I would bring in ! Someone should tell those boys just because we do not say anything does not mean we are stupid! What really chaps my hide is they would be the first to have someone arrested for cheating them! I est a total of around $400 dollars that they managed to overlook and just never made it to the scale or my ticket in just 2 visits!( I could be wrong just to be fair but highly doubtful ) Karma karma karma. Sinse that happened I have been going to Has ever sinse and actually would recommend them overall even if I never had the horrible experience with Greyco! There are a lot of hard-working men and women out there who scrap metal and take it to the scrap yard to try to earn money. I would like to inform you that HAS Metal Recycling 3040 E Main St has deprived people of the money owed to them by not giving them the proper weight. I personally know of one man who was cheated quite a lot of money from that place, and the manager had no interest in solving this problem when I stopped by there today. In fact he walked away from me. They refused to give the person they defrauded any paperwork showing the weight, when it was over three times the weight of what he brought the day before and they wouldn't pay what they owed him. He probably lost about a hundred fifty to two hundred dollars that day. Don't take any chances with HAS and lose your profit when Allied Scrap Processors is right down the road at 3330 E Main St. They've been buying metal since 1956 and are family owned and operated. They do business with honesty and integrity. It's your choice of course and if you don't want to be cheated don't take a chance with fly by nighters like HAS Metal Recycling. They should be ashamed for cheating people but one of the employees told me they don't care because they make lots of money off the backs of the hard-working people.
