It gets very crowded and in recent years that would scare me away, but the vendors and patrons are very friendly. My only negative is, I wouldn't bring multiple kids that are 5-12 years old, its so crowded keeping track of them would be difficult and I think many kids would be bored. (Maybe your kids are different) The town of Waynesville was so charming, I want to come back to town when the festival isn't going on and check it out.

We're to the wise, buy it up in the store instead of being quarters at the vending machines. They have local wines from dragonfly, they have local honey. The people there are very friendly. They are knowledgeable and kind to kids. I am open to stopping by there to get fresh fish.
