We had a very pleasant stay at the Haus Berlin, and find it hard to understand some of the negative comments from other reviewers. They obviously had a different experience from us! Our room (Room 3) was clean and bright, with comfortable beds and an excellent shower. There was offroad parking, a bike shelter for ten or more bikes, and access to a sunny garden. Breakfast was plentiful, with smoked salmon, cold meats, cheese and eggs, and there was also an honesty bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the wifi was good. One small note. Like most other local B&Bs, there was no kettle or fridge in the room. However, the house was very central - just five minutes walk from the lake and a few hundred yards from the Tourist Information office. We would certainly stay here again and are more than happy to recommend Haus Berlin. read more
