It was hot and I was tired but the staff was so friendly. They sat me down with a beer and the menu. I ordered the mixed platter for two and enjoyed my beer. The food was ready before I finished the beer. They gave me a bunch of napkins to hold the platter because it was so hot and made sure everything was secure in my hands before they helped me out the door. So maybe the food tasted extra good because they were so kind but it was still hot when I got back to the hotel, and we enjoyed as much as we could manage to stuff ourselves with, and still had enough left for a hearty breakfast! I'd make a trip there from Dusseldorf to eat at this restaurant again!

You know how it is, sunday afternoon bored at home with no idea what to eat, you get a phone call from a friend saying to meet up to grab a bite. The food was really delicious, we got a grill plate for 2 and it was gigantic. Everything tasted really really good. Maybe the only thing i could complain a bit, is that to get our drinks refilled we had to run after the waitress, they are somehow a bit distracted on that matter. Other than that, everything was excellent, "good" location if coming from Cologne, like 5 minutes from the train station, great food, great service, and as any well managed restaurant they accept Credit Cards!
