Was told by the buyers that you are better off being a "buyer" since there auctions dont bring top dollar as it should. Below is what you should know, 1. They charge high fees to do your auction compare to others. Pay up front. 2. $100 to advertise, they do not show you where that is other than Facebook which is free. 3. They dont have open house for people to see what there bidding on. 4. They bunch up your items and sell in bulk. 5. They dont know how to advertise expensive items, meaning not taking items out of boxes even though I suggested doing so. 6. If your items dont bring anything and you decide to pull them off since they aren't doing there part in advertising. You get charged with a high fee for them to pull it off the auction.

Plus, I had already visited another dealer right down the street from us (the Scotsman) and was actually planning on going with them. But when I made a follow-up phone call to clarify some details, the buyer at Scotsman was so indifferent and unhelpful I decided to see what else was out there. So glad I did! I made a phone enquiry to Used Jewelry and Tracy (I believe) was so friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable that I decided to ditch The Scotsman and brought my silver collection to Used Jewelry Buyer instead. A whole different experience. When I showed up the next day, Tracy was occupied, so Charles handled my affairs. He was just as friendly and knowledgeable and completely transparent about the fee structure (with sterling, dealer's cut is approx 20%). He weighed all the silver right in front of me on the counter. There are a few businesses still there, mostly providing entertainment (movie theater, pickle ball, The Neutral Zone, etc.), but besides the Cheesecake Factory, you will not have other places to grab food, etc. while there. We arrived to the Neutral Zone, gave our voucher info at the front desk, and headed into the arcade. There are several retro games there to play (Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Frogger, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, racing games, Dance Dance Revolution, and more) as well as two skee ball lanes (only one was working at the time). My husband and I enjoyed playing some games from our childhood and competing with each other to see who could remember how to play what. :) We enjoyed ourselves while there and played all the games we wanted to, but we didn't stay more than an hour to an hour and a half at most -- which was fine with us, but if you were paying full price ($19.95) it would have been disappointing. All in all, I found it to be a fun evening but not something we would probably return to very often.
